Have the club been beat agin or is it still speculation? Truth or Myth

Wouldn't touch either of them. Why should we help another SPL Clubs youngsters progress with first team football? 1. We can't play them against the parent club 2. Bringing in either of these isn't going to help progress Moore and Erwin for us. Who if we wanted to can play them every game.

Looking at various Blackpool forums and have seen no sign of that. However McCourt is on trial with them, so that maybe the option they chose.

There was also a comment in the press a couple of weeks ago that Tom Hateley hadn't been offered a contract as well. Seems like there is misinformation out there, either from MFC or the agents. I know which one I am likely to believe.

With English contracts running out tonight and the transfer window officially opening tomorrow, we'll hopefully see some incoming players announced shortly. I'd imagine the like of Gunnar Neilsen will be one.

To tell you the truth under the new rules of the SPFL I am surprised that haven't lifted the transfer embargo. After all they've lifted everything else for them. They are now a full member can vote, despite not having filed a tax return in 3 years. Apparently the SPFL have changed their own rule that those outside the top division can play trialists. Even though originally it was to be a no no. Even the play-offs that Doncaster has proposed are a con. 4th place in the 1st Division will play 3rd over two legs. The winner will then play 2nd place over two legs. The Winner will then play 11th in the SPL over two legs. So one team could have a further 6 games to get promoted while 11th only plays 2 games to stay up. What's wrong with 11th vs 3rd and 2nd vs 4th with the winners meeting for a one off game?

I would imagine that what has happened is Trevor Steven (agent) and Mark have had offers for Tom. However unless it contained the word Rangers in it, they have put them into File 13 for later consideration. Now that Rangers haven't been in touch, they've went back to File 13 and found that someone has emptied the bin.

Delighted he's staying. He'd already been quoted that he was in no rush to leave the club but if someone came in for him he'd talk to them out of courtesy. He's done that, decided it's not for him and he's better off where he is. Bear in mind he also had an affinity with Utd. If we're doing well, yeah other teams will be in for him, that's the way of the game. However if he's doing well, so are we. We can now concentrate on building for next season and getting some players signed up. Hopefully Higgy's "I might stay, if McCall stays" changes to a definite. Faddy would be good as well.

See on one of the Sheffield boards, there is a rumour that there'll be an announcement tomorrow. Expecting to hear McCall as the new boss and another that he'll be signing Higgy and Law and Higginbotham.

Looking at those tweets, can I just say that ain't exactly going to tell them what's happening before telling the club. So I don't know why their bothering asking the question. I hope he decides that Fir Park is the place to be but if he goes, then Good luck to him. We'll move onto the next part of the rollercoaster.

Sorry but I think I'd be quite pissed off if that happened. It'd mean he couldn't play against his parent club. If he was to establish himself as the No.1 ahead of Hollis, we'd be bringing Hollis into play against them and maybe disruting the harmony of the defence.

McCall said pre-match that Hateley and Humphrey had picked up knocks in training this week and failed a fitness test. So not necessarily a sign that both are off. However reading the Funday Nail today it would be safe to assume Hateley could be a way. Have a feeling that'll be playing 2nd Division football especially when his Dad and Trevor Steven are dealing with his contract offers. To be fair though he did state that he'd miss the club as past players have said that our changing room atmosphere was the best they've had since leaving. So there may be a wee niggle of doubt on leaving.

Kirky seemed to be quite positive that's where we'd like to enter. I can see both sides of this. From our side, we'd like the extra round for the sake of getting a chance to travel to a couple of places. From the clubs though maybe that extra couple of weeks could help settle in the new players a little more. I'd love us to get a tie in the 3rd qualifier that at least gives us a chance of qualification or a tie against a big club to encourage a big crowd.

Humphrey for me as well. Because of the assist and the goal. Looked tired in the 2nd Half. Would be good if we could keep him.
