Thoroughly enjoyed listening to that on the way to work this morning. Keep up the good work lads.

Andy, a good read. I had the same thoughts about the establishment finding a way to get Sevco up. 2 Goals awarded to Sevco for the pitch invasion 2 Goals awarded for Erwin pushing Moshni 2 Goals awarded for the flare and just for good measure 2 goals for each red card given to Motherwell. May seem a little excessive but you know if the establishment could do it and keep their integrity intact they would.

Think after the injury Craig has just come back from, we need to give him a chance to get a decent pre-season behind him and then see how things pan out for him.
-
Good luck to Josh and his missus but can Nicky really be called the "best" man now?
-
The club called this one right, well done to 'Flow and the board.

Motherwell V The Rangers Spfl Playoff Final 2Nd Leg 31/05/15
Well-Made replied to Yabba's Turd's topic in Club Chat
These two results made finishing 11th almost, I said almost... worth it. Great crowd and atmosphere today. The team gave everything over the two games, we can't complain about that, for once they turned up, not once but twice when it was needed Well done to them and the coaching staff. Loved the twist and shout and left Fir Park buzzing.... -
See that Barraclough has said there be a few changes for today. He's going to give some of those knocking on his door for a game a chance to prove themselves............ I take it I'm not getting a game as I haven't heard from him....... Anyone here get a shout? Seriously though I'd imagine Dan may get a shot, Sutton will probably start along with Moore, Hammell needs to play just to keep give him game. As for the rest open for debate Dan Law. Kerr, McManus, Hammell Ainsworth, Grant, Lasley, Johnson Moore, Sutton

See Stevie Saunders was also released, worth bringing him back?
-
See that record you keep playing? There's a b-side too. Gonna give it a flip and play that for a while? I flipped it for him HC, turns it out it has that other great hit on it. It's Hibs in the play offs we're getting pumped we're going down, Need to accept it folks. I hoped all season it wouldn't happen but it will.

Can't really say it's bad planning on our part, by the rights the season should be over at the end of May, it's only yesterday\today's press we are hearing that there are plans to extend the season into June to accommodate Hibs if they reach the Cup Final. Bear in mind that the we could be looking at extending contracts on Monday and not actually need them if Hibs don't get to the playoff final. We probably didn't think we'd be in this position at the start of the season either. No-one could have predicted when we were offering contracts last season or the season before that we'd go from 2nd top to possibly 2nd bottom.

The Daily Record is reporting that various clubs will have players out of contract at the end of May. Motherwell will have 12 players that contracts are up if the games are rescheduled. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/spfl-fixture-farce-motherwell-set-5527856 Motherwell will wait until Monday to before entering talks with the players.

So if we can beat Killie today we give ourselves a good chance of being level with Partick (they have Aberdeen today, Celtic midweek then us) come the split. So no pressure on the players. Got to be a win to the good guys today.
-
Absolutely brilliant performance and a great result.

Get in... 2 in succession...

Straker didn't cost us goals last time out, so he must be getting better. No cock ups from the keeper and back four tonight and we may win this comfortably. Having said that with our luck at the minute I'd put money on McDonald will try an overhead kick in their 6 yard box and score into our goal. 2-0 to the good guys. The plan was to go tonight but with my coughing and pain in the ribs, I am safer in the house. Would hate to think what state my voice and body would be in when we win tonight. At least here the missus will keep me under control.

Seem to remember a lot of Hibs keepers having similar issues under Marsh.

This weekend could prove interesting. Us against Killie and Ross County up against Partick. A win for us and a draw in the other game may be the best result. However I'd settle for County getting beat as long as we draw or better. As this is the game in hand over St Mirren we need to make it count.

Hopefully they work

Five years ago to the day 27. Round 28/02/2009 15:00 A Inverness CT Inverness CT 2:1 (1:1) I'll take the same result again. Looking back over the last few years we seem to have done not too bad around this date. 25. Round 25/02/2014 19:45 A St. Johnstone FC St. Johnstone FC 0:3 (0:0) 29. Round 27/02/2013 19:45 H Celtic FC Celtic FC 2:1 (1:0) 28. Round 25/02/2012 15:00 A Celtic FC Celtic FC 0:1 (0:0) 28. Round 27/02/2011 12:45 H Celtic FC Celtic FC 2:0 (1:0) So glad it isn't St Johnstone we're playing :0) The players have got to realise sooner or later that they are playing for their futures, even if it isn't here. Whoever it is though that is going crying to their mates to get their thoughts out in the media need to stop acting like 5 year olds and start acting like the responsible adults and professional footballers they are. There is enough players in that squad who can defend and create things it's just a case of these players having the attitude to go and do it. I am talking about players like: Ainsworth who we all know when he's on his game he can turn games whether that's getting balls in the box or shooting. McManus wasn't a Celtic and Scotland player for no reason but his organisation of the back 4 this season has been laughable. That was before Barra came in. Lasley will cover every blade of grass for this club but if he isn't being helped by those around him then we're just wasting what time his legs have to give us. There should be someone else doing his job and we should be using him a little deeper and using him to get the attacks started with his passing. My ideal team for this weekend if everyone was fit would be Long Law, Ramsden, McManus, Hammell Lasley Grant, Pearson D.Thomas Erwin Moore Hammell is replaced by Watt if not fit. McManus and Ramsden only get the shout because we need experience in the CB area for this fixture, Law gets the nod over Reid, for no other reason than this is supposed to be where he plays, so lets see he can provide the extra we need there. Only dropped Sutton as I feel he needs a break from trying to lead from the front and the three young lads will have the pace and trickery required to break down the ICT defence.

Just finished listening to it. I had to split it for work... Anyway good show, Flow covered a fair bit in there and will be interesting to see\hear about the other changes happening at the club. Well done to all involved. Best part of a decade ago I never thought I'd be saying that to something involving Busta and Jay unless it was something on the Only an Excuse lines, with horses etc..... Good to hear that Flow still has the supporter inside him as well. Although having a guy with the club at heart as a GM, lets hope it's a while before he resumes his seat in the East Stand. Between this and the Daily Record interview lets hope it puts to bed the question of what he does and doesn't do. Once again, well done everybody.

As posted in the shoutbox, Hartley will fit right in....... Injury

Better loans or short contract deals until the end of the season than being landed with paying PL wages in the championship. As long as we get the young un's tied up on long contracts I'll be happy.
-
If we can get Steelboy to stay home and play with his bishop this afternoon rather than to-knight, we won't have to put up with his comments on how bad the game was despite us winning 2-0.

Surprised I haven't seen this posted from last nights evening times Evening Times
