Sun reporting 14 minutes ago, he's bracing himself for the sack. Board apparently deciding if he should get Saturday's game or let go now.

If the clown is in charge on Saturday I wouldn't be surprised to see us line up with Lasley, McManus, Laing McDonald Samson, Twardzik, Moult Ainsworth Hammell Chalmers, Thomas Seriously though Ripley Watt\Law, Kennedy, Laing, Hammell Ainsworth, Lasley, Grimshaw, Thomas McDonald, Moult With Skippy being told he'll be fined if he crosses back into our half for anything other than defending a corner. I'd also be telling Ainsworth his pay packet will be halved if he doesn't want to help defend as well. -
Lol, I ain't touting anyone, just trying to see what type of manager we should be going for.....
-
Sorry Leanne but he's had the time, this isn't a knee jerk reaction from fans. We can see he can't turn this around, why can't you? I like to think I am one of the last voices into the Barraclough out club. We have seen this team struggle twice now against lower league sides. We have seen this team not able to compete with sides in the Premier League, just look at Ross County and how they have improved this season. We're not even seeing signs that we're improving.
-
Looking at a replacement, do we go for someone that's been there and done it eg. Calderwood or should we be looking down the leagues and bringing in one of the managers that are proving themselves there. Maybe give Allan Johnston a shot at the top table again, he's doing well with Dunfermline just now. What's the thoughts?

With Craig Reid playing in the U20's, I take it we're not going to get rid of him. I have a feeling that we not see anyone confirmed tonight, unless it's a loan. I don't know where the Dutch players stories have come from but makes me wonder why they haven't been able to get a club before today or have they been holding out hoping we'd offer a little more dosh? Just hope that we are making sure that whoever comes in covers the weaker areas and not another striker...... Did notice Wee Dan ain't involved with the U20's tonight, so could he be heading out the door?

MFC twitter 22nd or 23rd September....... may think about it myself....
-
Ross Forbes to put us out.........
-
You forgot to add that the gallows would only have to be 3ft high to swing "Wee" Dan from.

If I remember rightly there was a report going about on the young Scottish players being brought through the ranks and ICT were slammed for not doing it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33279795 story here, lack of youth may come back to bite this season if their injuries are that bad..... Could see them do a "Motherwell" this season if they don't have the cover.

The 5 on the bench for Inverness is right. Was mentioned before the match started due to injuries.

Wonder if we'll see a copy of this. http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soccer/national-league/wonder-goal-greg-bolger-scores-from-40-yards-for-st-pat-s-1.2152781

From the BBC Gossip Column Motherwell boss Ian Baraclough is continuing his search for a goalkeeper to challenge Dan Twardzik after former Leeds keeper Dan Atkinson failed to win a deal at Fir Park. However as they also reported Skippy's return was going to be scuppered by a bid from China, I'll take it with a pinch of salt.
-
From the BBC GOssip page Scott McDonald could end Motherwell's hopes he will extend his stay at Fir Park after the 31-year-old out-of-contract striker received a lucrative offer from a Chinese Super League club

Would just like to welcome Kit Van to the fold, looks like he'll be a solid shot stopper. http://t.co/42hPVTI5bX

Simon Ramsden on trial at ...................... Gateshead FC.
-
Does that mean we have to put up with Lionel talking about his new deal on the official site for another 2 years? Delighted at that news though.
-
Marshall to Aberdeen could be the best transfer of this window....... At least we know he won't be having any input into choosing our keepers...
-
You missed 4. Skippy will launch it in conjunction with the announcement of his signing a new contract.

First thought on seeing the fixtures was that there could be shouts for Barra to go before we get to play Hamilton. We have been given a tough opening, especially when you consider we have to put a team together and get them to gel. If nothing else the fixture list has got to put some urgency into making sure we have a few decent signings in before we go to Holland in a few weeks time. Being the 'Well however we'll probably go and beat ICT, Aberdeen, Utd etc and fall to Killie. That would be a brilliant start though.
-
Thoroughly enjoyed listening to that on the way to work this morning. Keep up the good work lads.

Andy, a good read. I had the same thoughts about the establishment finding a way to get Sevco up. 2 Goals awarded to Sevco for the pitch invasion 2 Goals awarded for Erwin pushing Moshni 2 Goals awarded for the flare and just for good measure 2 goals for each red card given to Motherwell. May seem a little excessive but you know if the establishment could do it and keep their integrity intact they would.

Think after the injury Craig has just come back from, we need to give him a chance to get a decent pre-season behind him and then see how things pan out for him.

Good luck to Josh and his missus but can Nicky really be called the "best" man now?
