  1. Good news, lets hope he celebrates with a goal on Sunday
  2. Bobby Watson played for, and managed the Dossers

For the first time this season - Chris Humphrey
  4. Agree with the sentiments expressed. With the game at Easter Road being a real big match, and it beinfg at an awkward time on a Sunday, this is one where the club could assist by helping with transport for the fans.
  5. Poor second half performance but I felt we suffered from a very poor display from the referee. He lost control late in the first half and we had 2 mystery corners given against us in quick succesion, a failure to give a free kick for a trip on Jennings which resulted in a booking for our captain, Stevie Hammell. He came out in the 2nd half a proceeded to give every 50 / 50 decision against us and turned the game for Killie, who were not playing well. If he gives a penalty for deliberate hand ball, why no action against the culprit??. Very poor performance.
  6. Bobby Graham can be seen around motherwell most days.
  7. Great performances from the young guns under difficult circumstances. Page, Cummins and Carswell all did their bit. Old heads Jenno and Hammell coaxed them through the game. Tight decision but the goal was special so Steven Hammell gets my vote.
  8. Could be a difficult tie with Dons height an advantage, so I hope hutch is fully fit. Lasley in for Daley, and put Law out wider to allow Henrik through the middle with Higdon.

    Jenno ran the show.
  10. Strikers Union thing. I noticed O'Connor congratulating Higdon on Wed after his overhead kick goal. Does not mean you want lose the game.
  11. Aye, thats the away end at Tynecastle. Got my feet wet in the " tunnell " many a time, and run down Gorgie Road for your trouble.
  12. Poor choice of tune last night but the mix must have put Hibs off
  13. I will estimate 9000 at the game tonight, and players like Law, Higdon and Ojaama are unaware of the paranoia of our fans re big crowd letdowns - although I prefer to remember the big crowd performances of cup semi finals at Hampden and Easter Road v Hearts etc, not forgetting our biggest crowd jubilation when we won the cup. The gaffer will have the team ready, lets do our bit tonight. 'Mon the 'Well..........
  14. Whoever comes in will need to apply the same workrate of Las and I do not see that in Ross Forbes. Tricky one for Stuart McCall, but I think it might be better to leave the defence alone and shuffle midfield / attack. I have a feeling he will bring in Omar Daley. My only criticism of our recent gubbing of Hearts was the the gaffr waited a bit long to make a change when we had been playing with 10 men for a bit. Can't argue with the end result though.

    Vs Hearts

Agreed, Black made a meal of both challenges and knew what he was doing. I noticed one of his team mates basically congratulating him on the ordering off. Typical Hearts.
  16. Gordon Young mentions " International recognition" for 2 or 3 players in his interview of 16th February on Motherwell TV Well done to all concerned.

Why would we drop Law?? Same team again this week - good game in prospect.

Jenno was good, but wasted it by a booking for mouthing at the ref. Mccall needs to sort this out. Hateley provided a few great deliveries but again needlessly booked when he had lost the plot a bit. Giving my vote to Nicky Law for a day of unselfish running and making space for others.
  22. This is something I have thought about in the past and I genuinely believe he is happy to stay at Motherwell long term. We need to manage him well and boost his confidence.
  23. Raining on and off with no overnight frost.
  24. I was fortunate to be able to sign up and handed in my form today. I was already signed up to the Motherwell TV package which now comes with membership of the Well Society, so in real terms it will be £240 to join. We need this to work and I feel the 'Well fans will rally to this opportunity to move the club forward in a unique way in Scottish Football. There are sample packs with all the details on the desk within the ticket office for anyone who did not receive one.
