Tight one, but went for Stevie Hammell for a cracking blocking challenge when we needed it. Las was very good again and a mention to Robert McHugh for a great winner.

    Hibernian

Randolph kept us in it with crucial saves.
  3. I aint his biggest fan but he is an easy target for the clowns looking for a scapegoat. There were far worse performers in the team over the last 2 games who will get start on saturday no question. One at the back, one in midfield and one up front. 1 assist, 1 goal and scored his penalty, that will do for me
  4. Saturdays are fur fitba
  5. I'm not his greatest fan either but he had a fair game tonight, beating men and cutting inside. Few misplaced passes and crossing was better.

    Rangers

There is a bigger eejit who voted for Humphrey, ( at least it gives me an opening for this). During the game a ball went straight through and it was either offside or a bye kick. Humph decides to stand on a yellow balloon and it did not burst, (coudnae burst a balloon). Anyway he takes his foot off the balloon and it starts to go in a circle in the wind. Meanwhile the ball is back in play and we are looking play it to Humphrey, but he is still going after the balloon!!!!!! Shocking and typical of his non interest in yesterdays game.

Not his best performance but not the worst I have witnessed recently. Hutch needs to be advised re his heavy challenges. He was still angry from the first foul given against him and there was no need to be as heavy on the tackle which seen him booked. It was definately avoidable as he was having a good game and got drawn into it a bit. The ref was reacting to the home crowd but did well to ignore the baiting of Hammell.

The Lawman for me. Went forward with purpose and can hold the ball. Delayed a bit when through and made it easier for Samson to make the save. Forbes and Craigan also get amention. Hammell did well to ignore the undeserved criticism from the stands.
  10. Kit worn v Leeds is tops. Pity we cant get away wi the small number above the hoop - class!
  11. It never got the chance yesterday, although there might have been a photo opportunity at the required distance away from the stand
  12. I think the opening game of the season would rule us out
  13. Good day out in the sun and 5 goals spread around the team. All looked comfortable and although not great, Higdon will not be pushed around and looked very much part of the squad, he will improve. Nicky Law looks like a fitba player, with good vision, pace, and eventually a great finish. Looks like a midfielder who can go forward rather than the holding type. Usual solid displays from the rest, Murph looks sharp already. Re the flag, apparently due to its size it required a fire safety certificate which was not produced. Therefore it was not allowed to be tied to the pitchside barrier and after discussion with stewards and the Old Bill, several possible ejections and arrests were eventualy avoided.
  14. I will be there for a couple of beers. Hope the weather treats us well. Stop before Dumbaton Central is closest to the ground. Any prices for the game out yet?
  15. Flags up in our street & a few goodluck posters in windows. A well done to North Lanarkshire Council for the impressive amount of Claret & Amber bunting around the town.

    Kilmarnock

    Stevie Hammel for me.
  18. My belief is we wll see our Hampden 11 start on Wed against Killie, all being fit. We need to get back to the football we played previously against Utd and in the semi final. The game at Parkhead will take care of itself and I think how Celtic do today is more important. Personally I am over the moon with what we have achieved this season given the mid season upset etc. 'Mon the 'Well.

  21. What happened to the Cooper Suite offer which was advertised on fishul site earlier this week?
  22. Got to agree that he was one of the worst this season - on a par with O'Reilly. Maguire easily did enough to be booked earlier and then sent off. Continually stopped the game pointlessly. Most annoying when the ball was in Randolphs hands and he blows for offside and stops the game.

    Maurice Ross ?

Excellent interview on Radio and he certainly is experienced with the number of clubs he has been at. A useful addition to the squad.

    Dundee Utd

Many good performances but thought Gunning kept it tight at the back
