  1. So many memories brought back in that show. I hope the current squad were listening to hear how much it meant to everyone at the club and the supporters. Mon the Well
  2. We need to hold this lead!
  3. I was there and agree with most of that. Poor defending / goalkeeping at the 2 goals from open play did not help or general laziness from players who elect to shoot from 30 - 35 yards or pass the ball out of the park did not help. Eremenko made te gamr look easy and went away from players with ease.
  4. Back to fir park for a few free Chapmans Pies, the Chairman was filling the bags in the pie stall where the Davie Cooper stand is now. On the park to see the team wi the cup, a few beers in the fir park club, up tae wishy for a few mair in Tam Parks and then doon tae Rab McNally's for a party. The adrenalin was flowing and it seemed we could party all night - so we did. Sunday was a great day too, watching the open top bus celebrations through the toon, and into FPC for further singing etc.
  5. Yeah, I heard him say that first team drawn would be the home team. We need a big performance now with everyone we know at the game to push us into the semi. Good game for the club to drop prices to encourage as many as possible.
  6. Draw live on sky sports news 1pm
  7. I like the line up. I hope they are pumped up for this one as much as last Sunday
  8. Far too early to think of changing. Give him a season and then judge him. we wont be relegated and Stuart might have have had time to bring in some of his own players
  9. Weather has not turned out as predicted. Hoping the fans turn up for a 'Well Victory
  10. +1 Thanks John, Not many people would pump money at a provincial club like he has. We had some good times under his chairmanship.
  11. One hand holding Suttons arm and the other on his shoulder as he tried to turn & shoot. Penalty in my book. Ref booked Lasley and then allowed Accies away with similar 1 minute later. Skelton got away with kicking lumps out of Jamie and was only booked when the crowd reacted angrily.

Booked for a slightly late challenge which when replicated by an Accies player infront of the tunnel 1minute went unpunished is unlucky - and inconsistent. 1 of our best performers this season. Up the Las. You are being unfair to say he runs about a lot and puts in hard challenges- maybe we should sit back and let those guys Mc Laughlin and Canning prance around and kick the shit out of Murphy without response.

You were at a different game from me. Las worked his socks off and Jenno was within himself. Different to having an "off day" as you put it.
  14. We need to get past the gorillas at the back - maybe a fox could do it!
  15. Aye but he didn't get his balance due to the sheep on his back. 2 good goals for the 'Well and a result to set us up for Saturday
  16. Not been on for a few days but this is surreal. We have previously come through administration, the death of our captain, 2 management teams ditching us, and I am old enough to remember a few relegations. A six nil defeat pales next to some of those events, so take it on the chin boys it won't be the last. Mon the'Well
  17. Well done Stuarty, and well done Brazilian for organizing it.
  18. Aye found that strange as forecast for today was sunny. You would think a bit of sun was what the pitch would need right now

    Stranraer

Went for Gunning who looks like a useful addition. Booked for protesting a poor call by the stand side linesman.

"Nobody ever beats Celtic in a semi final replay." We did.
  22. Well done to the boys. Keep it up.
