Happy that we've signed Craig Reid on a 2 year deal. If we manage to resign most of our out of contract players I'll be happy - although it's always nice to see a couple of new players join the rollercoaster. Watching the same Motherwell players for 2 seasons might be a bit of a novelty

Good post goggles. For all the talk of players leaving due to end of contract, from what I've seen, no one has talked about the possibility of someone coming in with a bid for John Sutton. I'm not saying its going to happen but if it was the case that an English team tables a bid for say £250,000 - or MFC were to tout him and were offered that - then I believe the club would have to seriously consider it as we are after all a selling club and at the moment there is a perfect replacement for free in big Higdon.

It's only my opinion but I believe that Ainsworth is away on holiday and will be back for pre season training. The guy has said repeatedly that he's happy here and would like to stay. I think that he's enjoying getting a regular game and I believe that like the humph before him, he will only get better the longer he stays as SMcC appears to have a great knack of improving players.

Despite how much I hated the way we played yesterday - excluding the last 5 min - I think it shows that SMcC and the players have all learned to win ugly and hopefully we can grind out something in Europe next season.

Would love to see us lift a cup again and I do believe that this squad can do it if we keep most of them.

Don't know if its been reported elsewhere but The Sunday Post is reporting that Stephen McManus will take up the option of a second season with us and will ignore options from down south.

Got to agree with Ya Bezzer, playing week in week out at a stable club with a well respected manager in a happy dressing room with what appears to be a good bunch of guys around him - after the last few seasons the guys had, this season at FP will seem like heaven.

Gunnar Nielsen gets my vote for a good overall performance and two good saves (especially the second) prior to our 1st goal.

One good game in ten doesn't make him a good player. Too often when he played for us he didn't fight to get into a game and at times left us a man short. The fact he's playing for thistle say it all. As for the game, at 3-2 down I thought we were doomed, great effort from the guys to grab all three points.

If the game does go ahead, who will benefit most from the condition? Both teams seem to like to play on the break but if the park is going to hold the ball up then we could be looking at both managers setting up their teams in unusual formations. Personally I think the bad weather could effect us more.

Disappointed that the game was off but don't blame the club for the flooding. The worst thing about it is that Aberdeen have a chance to leapfrog us into 2nd spot.
