If I understand things correctly, LH had originally offered the cash with no strings attached but for some reason had to change to the way we are now doing it. So I would imagine there is some sort of a barrier to him just giving the cash to the WS. Remember the WS was looking to get loans from fans and pay interest yearly so The fact that he's given the money interest free has already saved the WS approx £20000 a year which could be out towards paying back the loan. So over the 5 years we then only need to find another £900000 Also the £1M isn't just. Going to disappear it is working capital that might not all be used up and can be invested in a high interest acc to earn extra income.

From what I understand, this guy has no intention of trying to take over MFC and what he has done is to facilitate the takeover of the club by the WS. Yes he has put in place some thing to protect his cash but for the time being I'm happy to let everything get sorted out and then for both the WS and LH to issue a statement outlining how it will work. In my view what we cant expect is that whenever the WS is conducting business, they keep issuing updates every time someone has a question. If members are not happy with what is happening then it is when the election of officials take place that they should try and implement changes. Leave the guys to get on with moving the club forward.

I'd imagine that our new manager would be at todays game, if so we could find out today who it is.

Def a game of 2 halves. I thought we stuck in well for the 1st half but utd were the better team and if they had some luck would have been a couple up but the second half belonged to us and I'm really glad the teams fitness lasted. Great result.

Putting aside his playing days and ability to be the player every opposition fan loved to hate - his "clash" with Colin O'Neil still makes me smile - I wouldn't discount Peter Grant, from what I've heard he has a good reputation and is well thought of. I'd imagine also that he would still have the same attitude to never giving up that he did as a player, which can only be a good thing.

It strikes me that unlike the last two times we have been looking for a manager to further improve us when the club was being relativly successful, this time we are looking for someone to pull our arse out of the fire. Does that mean we look for someone who's been there before or do we continue with our previous type of suprise managers?

As the titlle says, not sure who I want but here are some names that I suspect we will hear will be, Owen Coyle - probably thinks we are to small a team for him and if he got the job would not stick around Mark McGhee - would he want it and would we want him? Gary McAllister - cant see it but did he not apply last time? Scott Lietch - has only been a manager at Ross County and assistant here and at Aberdeen.

I'm not sure how true this is but I've heard that this season McCall is not training the players and is leaving all that up to Black while he spends more time with his family down south.

Well struck goal but looking at the goal it appears that the only reason the guy went the way he did was because he made a backside of his 1st touch - if he'd controlled the ball he would have been blocked by our players!
