Just about sum it up but you didn't quite state how bad Straker was - poorest player I've seen for many a year.

Initially I voted a null vote but on reflection there were some players who covered a hell of a distance chasing the ball so have deleted my vote with the view that no vote is slightly better than a null vote.

RC have signed a few players during the window, so we can expect them to be up for it when we meet. I'm not expecting an easy win and will be happy to walk away with a draw.

From memory it was Scott Lietch who had him by the throat after Lietch abused him for slacking at training. McDonalds reply was along the lines of "listen to you, just because your Mr Motherwell" Leitch had the thought that you tried like fuck no matter the team.

Just had a quick look at Erwins late effort and the positive that I take from it is that he starts on the halfway line about 3 meters further out than the defender but manages to beat him to the ball by a couple of yards. A great turn of pace and once he starts scoring he will give a few opposition players and managers a torrid time - hope we have him on a long contract.

Went for Ainsworth, one of his best performances in the 1st half and helped out in the second.

Well done to the team. In the first half the they were better than I have seen them this season, playing with the confidence and belief they did last season and I think they showed in the first half that they are a better team who deserve to be in the top half of the league. We could have been three up by half time but then - for some unknown reason - they then came out the second half and it appeared that all their self doubting and lack of confidence had returned. Thankfully they held out, stopping Partick from making any real chances and claimed three hard earned. Hopefully they can continue this next week as I believe other teams may have been playing better than we have been but that doesn't mean they have players better than ours. 'mon the 'Well

I seem to remember that big Higdon getting a lot of abuse from a certain section of the crowd at one point before he went on to prove them wrong and show them a get it right up you ya fuds - hope big Sutton can do the same ( without getting a suspension )

Last season the team flattered to deceive at times but could also grind out a victory. This season other teams have sussed us out but I believe the squad is still better than their current position and with a fully fit squad and a bit of belief, we will be pushing towards 6th - at the start of the season I thought we'd finish between 8th and 5th and see no reason why we still cant make at least 7th.
