  1. Depends when the contract was offered, if it was before we signed Sutton and anier, then no it doesn't
  2. Well done Kuban, best of luck in the group stages.
  3. Sorry didnt realise there was no friendship scarf available there.
  4. You can buy a scarf direct from here http://www.motherwelldirect.co.uk/
  5. Read a piece in the daily express yesterday which sure quoted black as saying we be signing him as we had cover at) now
  6. Sounds like he's got the same type of personality as Scott McDonald had, if was a well player and he scored a shit load of goals then I'd live with his pish if it meant getting more win bonuses.
  7. Well said special totally agree. part of the fun of euro games is the couple of weeks that we share with the fans chatting about the games and learning a bit about them. This year the Kuban fans who took the time and effort to chat with us have been great guys - all the best to them and their club.
  8. Not sure if I'm understanding this correct, did the guys attack some fans and steal the flag or did they just swipe it when it was left unattended? If they attacked then its out of order but if they swiped it then what can you say - many a well fan might have tried it for a laugh when they were younger. Hope they get the flag back.
  9. Eddie, nice to see your treating this thread with the contempt it deserves. HOTD for this.
  10. Although I don't agree with playing a weakened team, I also believe that at times playing some of the younger players should be the way forward as it gives them the experience they might need in future seasons and they also play with less fear of defeat, so for those reasons I'd keep the defence the same but bring in a younger midfield and strike force.
  11. Hard not to vote for McManus for a second time but thought Hollis deserved some recognition for keeping us in the game with a couple of good saves. Also thought Keith played a blinder popping up everywhere and provided an out for many of our players when under pressure from Hibs.
  12. Sad news, remember him playing for us when I was a nipper, good solid player who I always thought was would run through a brick wall for the team.
  13. Agree with you jwfc, it's unfortunate that we play Aberdeen next week as they will be one of the teams we will be fighting it out with for a top 3 place and being 2 goals down Europe must now take 2nd place to the league.
  14. As a right back he was a good solid player who consistently played well for us and in most game I saw him play in he got pass marks, to suggest he was a shite player for us and we are better off without him is just plain stupid.
  15. 5 hours to go and my guts are in knots already, my thoughts keep swinging from a win to an absolute pumping - can see me ending up having a heart attack but if we win then it will be worth it! This time we're going to do it!
  16. Don't worry, we'll win 3-1 over there
  17. 2-1 to the Well, Sutton and vigurs to score
  18. oping for at least a goal to celebrate this year. last year - against teams which I expect will be similar in quality to this mob - we didn't look like causing them much trouble nevermind scoring, so I'd like to see a more attacking style and a goal at least.
  19. This game will have to pay the cost of a charted flight to Russia, hotel costs etc, which I suspect wont be cheap so I don't think we can expect to see anything under £20.
  20. With the ticketing arrangements still to be announced, I think that the game will not be a sell out and would suggest that if the visiting fans are not being housed in the south stand, then the club should sell adult tickets to this stand with a free kids ticket to try and encourage a larger crowd.
  21. Roasters? - Thats a polite way to describe the Celtic fans who behaved with such distinction yesterday.
  22. Best to stay in Glasgow and travel out to the game by train from Glasgow central station, get off at airble road station in Motherwell. From there you can stop off at the electric bar - 1 minute from the station and a very welcoming place - before then move on to jack Daniels bar - 5 minutes walk towards the stadium where you will also receive a warm welcome. You can then walk a further 5 minutes to the fir park social club for a final few drinks before entering the stadium. All in all a nice little tour of the local pubs frequented by friendly motherwell fans before the game Police escorts are not normally required. You will see police around the stadium but unless you have a history of trouble making they tend to allow both sets of fans to mix freely allowing for a good party atmosphere.
  23. I checked out the green mile website that he's added a link to but even when I changed the setting to English at the bottom, it was still all in Russian.
  24. Any chance someone can validate this guy kubankazak so we can find out what he's got to say?
