  1. I'd love to see him and Law play next to each other - could rip defences apart. If his demands are not great I'd take him back until the end of the season so that if we loose any of the midfield we'd have 1st dids on signing him on a longer deal - and apart from that if he's even only on the bench what a great potential game changing option to have.
  2. If both were on form it could be worth a try but given that when Daley signed SMcC said, if you think Humphrey is frustraiting wait until you see Daley, it could be a disaster if both had a "frustraiting" game - and this site would have to be closed for a week while some folk calmed down!
  3. when can we expect highlights or do we have to wait until they are released by the bbc?
  4. None of our forwards had a good game today but big Higdon at least looked to be trying - which I know is unfair on Murph and Hump but its just the way I seen it. Maybe at home, some tweeking of the team tactics is required.

Thought Clancy didn't put a foot wrong today so went for him but as others have said Jennings and Law also played well at times.
  6. For a team thats suposed to have a shit defence, killie played well. We never really pressured them and when they broke they looked dangerous. Was looking for 3 points before the game but was happy we got 1 point in the end. As for the players, Randolf made one great save in the 1st half, the defence was mostly solid but midfield went missing at times and the forwards only appeared a couple of times. Thought big Hig was a stick on to bury that rebound but the keeper did great to get back up after his 1st save.
  7. Looking good, picture quality is great and still looks good on full screen
  8. sounds like he's related to ma wife
  9. some folk on here are talking utter shite! 100% thats rubbish! his strike rate was better than that! - the guy managed to score a hat trick while out injured!

TBH, I don't have a problem with him signing for celtic (or rangers if that had been the case) and wont give him any abuse for doing so. Its not as if we made him an offer and he chose them over us and to be fair, him being at celtic is highly unlikley to change where we will finish at the end of the season - although if he dives, cheats or kisses the badge against us then I will be giving him dogs abuse. Until then I wish him all the best in resuming his career except in games that effect Motherwell.
  11. Would have been surprised if we hadn't backed him at this point. Hope he plays this weekend.
  12. As far as I know - unless I've missed something - he's not been suspended or jailed so why do you believe we've been denied a player?
  13. A great impressive result today that I didn't really expect - well done to the team Another couple of things that have impressed me reading about the guys refused entry was the way that guys not in the singing section missed the drums and flags, the way the guys handled themselves when not allowed in and the fact they had spare gear to make an improptue banner - well done lads
  14. would be nice if Mr McCall sent out an email saying he was off out for a pint - then we could shut this feckin thread!
  15. Wis big darren at training or can I start a rumour?
  16. For a 17 year old the guy was class even with us and had the skill to make things happen. I can still remember the buzz that would go round the park when he was striding forward with the ball looking around to see who to pass it to as he either skipped past the opposition or they backed off him.
  17. You'll get yourself banned if you keep saying things like that
  18. bbc texts says goal by Higdon, assist by Las
  19. Hopefully people wont be "paying" but loaning any money which - if it like a friendly society - they would be doing, then they can always have the option to withdraw their money at a future date. Anyway it great to see you have an open mind when it comes to the future of the team you support.
  20. For those who don't think that £750,000 could be raised by a couple of thousand 'Well fans check this out http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2011/aug/19/pub-saved-community-spirit-reopens under 300 folk have paid between £250 and £20,000 - raising £300,000 - to keep a village pub open. So if they can do it why can't we raise the money for our club? Still waiting for the details but I'm hopeful that this will work.
  21. He's fat He's round He's worth a million pounds Steve Cowan, Steve Cowan
  22. Four cops in that picture to take out one boy - yet when people were singing the sash in the POD not one of the fuckers was anywhere to be seen!

I know this sounds daft but who do you think would be dropped to make room for him, how would him playing effect the shape of the team, and on that basis is it worth having him on a month to month contract?
  24. Since this is turning into a thread about Humphrey, although I wasn't at the game on Sat, I've got to agree with you there sbcmfc, the guy has came on leaps and bounds over the last season or so. Another thing people should note is that this season most of our play has been down the left hand side, leaving Humphrey isolated on the right. Personally I'd like to see Las, Hateley and Humphrey getting down the right more as they did to great effect last season. Bottom line is that although he's not been as effective as he was last season, I don't think that - in any game I've seen - he's played that poorly to deserve some of the comments that have been made.
  25. Unfortunatly I can't see us getting anything from this mob but as always I'll turn up, shout my head off and hope for something great to happen.
