Well I got my prediction wrong

Thought the same but just looked back at the last few years and over the last seven seasons either on of them has been at home 4 times - can't believe I forgot we were at rangers last year!

If we lose to celitc early on it wouldn't mean they would win the title as other results could change that but if we play then in the second last game and they need only to win or draw against us to be sure of the title it could be seen by some that we threw the game. I'm not saying we would as I believe that players have enough pride in themselves not to do it but the accusation could still be made and I think the SPL would look to avoid that when arranging the fixtures - the same as they don't have one of the OF playing at home on the last day to avoid the accusation of giving them home advantage.

I can see us getting Celtic away early on because if we do reach the final (still a big assumption), I don’t think the SPL will want us to play them the second last game of the season in case a Celtic win gave them the league. We could then be accused of throwing the game to ensure European football - which wouldn’t be fair on the players.

I think we'll get celtic, united and hearts away with killie and rangers at home. I also agree that we'll get rangers on the last day with celtic playing away to killie. The different options for the spl are a right headache due to killie being due both rangers and celtic at rugby park but I think the rangers game will be switched along with a few others to make it happen. whatever the fixtures are I'm sure ever club will be moaning about it.

Not sure what to make of this story but if his choice is between us and the sheep shaggers, then I'd like to think that if we get some money in from selling either Randolph, Murphy or Humphery, then we could offer him a hefty sign on fee to make up for the wage difference - if thats how Mccall decided to spend the money. Question is would we be happy to see any of the others leave to keep Jennings?

TBH, I think I'd prefer it is SMC played a couple of the fringe players today and maybe used the subs later in the game to rest another couple of regulars. Sure we want to make the top six but if ITC win all their games then I'd say fair play to them and lets use the last 5 games blooding some of the youngsters for next season.

The singing section is also going to be the "claret and amber smoking section" where smoke bombs will be allowed by the SFA so there needs to be a gap between them and the rest of the fans for safety. A similar section has been arranged for StJohnstone at the other end.

Just checked out that forum and to be truthful I think some folk on here would have been a lot more sad, bitter and a hell of a lot more twisted - compared to them we've some world class moaners here.

The thing is we do have the potential to take a good 10 000 or more to the game if we can motivate enough folk to get off their arse's and get behind the team and the town. Its not just up to Motherwell to get folk to go, as fans we must also make sure we badger friends/family into going - this could be our final! The family section is well priced for families to make a day of it so start drumming up support!

I'd doubt that we will be able to compete with other SPL teams, as I suspect he'll be looking for more money than we pay. Not a bad player on his day but not worth breaking the bank for.

Got to be hampden for me - I've got my wifes brothers wedding on the day of the final so this will be my chance to support the team at hampden.

After all the elation and singing after the final whistle, watching the cup being lifted and the walk back to the bus, feeling totally shattered coming back along the M74 and being told by a rangers supporting mate "cheer up, you'd have thought you lost the game its so quiet on here!" - it made me realise that OF fans didn't know what it's really like to win a cup because they just expect it to happen year in year out and it was nothing magical to them. And to think I've now spent the next 20 years wondering what it would be like to see the 'well win two cups!
