End of the day here...emotion to the side. We have previous for going on the pitch, we were warned not to go on the pitch countless times this year and previous years also, we did then go on to the pitch. IF we get fined (or whatever)it's the fault of the fans who went on which is shite for the club and poor show from the fans who did it.

I think is an OK goalie at this level. Not brilliant...not a full on bombscare ...just somewhere in the middle. Would be a fairly odd signing given we have 2 senior keepers already. He does not fit the bill I would think of improving what we have or being a sellable asset in future.

I haven't had any problems at all really. Speaking as a member in Scotland. Can also see why the likes of weeyin is annoyed as an overseas too though. Given there is over 1000 members in the WS I would think/hope majority of experiences are ok and it's those with a bad experience speaking up up more than those with a good/normal experience. That is the usual with any service to be fair...people dont, in the main, talk about a decent service..only when it goes bad (which is fair enough I guess). All about expectation also. Joined via GoCardless and pack came through a few weeks later. For me that was OK as I was not really bothered about having a card or using any benefits straight away. Likely will never use them is my view. A few months later I cancelled in error at the bank end. Joined up again and took a phonecall then an email confirm from WS to link things up on the society end. All sorted within a week or so. Again fine for me. Most recently upped my membership and dropped another email to ensure all was OK and that was confirmed in 24hrs. (the email I referenced most recently)

Personally, I just don't fancy a supporters bus. Prefer to keep to my own timetable I suppose. I go to most away games except the Highland ones and we usually drive 2 or 4 in a car. It's not the cost that stops me going up there it's just the time involved unfortunately.

I didn't know that to be fair. I did read the article and thought he was 22/23 for some reason. I guess my main point is as you have said there - age or not we should be prepared with our current board to pay a fee, or up it, if they think it will be good for us for the team and the future for a fee. Basically, I don't want us to just sign a midfield equivalent of Lee Miller haha

We don't just need someone who can 'do a job' - that should be our fallback position. We need a promising young player who can hopefully do a job but also hopefully be worth a fee in the future too. If we need to up a small fee to get a player we think qualifies the above (much like Johnson) then we should do it.

Agree with above. Can't make a special case I don't think. If there is a deal it needs to be open to all.

Reply already from Craig Hughes. Currently in the process of setting it up and waiting on the Web developer coming back to them to get it added to the site. Had you emailed them recently weeyin? If not I would contact them as they have been very prompt with me past 48hrs.

PayPal should have been set up by now I would agree. I was speaking to the new manager Craig over email yesterday about my own membership so will ask the question and see if I can get a response.

The point about Lasley is a good one Kmac. If he sits behind the midfield it means Laing and McManus 'shouldn't' have to breenge out to try and stop oncoming forward players. Which is exactly what happened at NDP.

Having a settled back 4 and fit Hammell is key for me. If we can get that we will be much more solid. Last season we chopped and changed so much with McManus dealing with non left backs most of the season and different partners in the middle. Also if our wingers are fitter and also have it drummed into them to defend this pre season then they may offer more defensive support.

Me too. Said it all the way through the last few months. There was little, if anything, between Long and Twardzik. In that they were as average as each other. So we might as well go with Dan as the perm player for now. Hopefully we do get someone else in though sharpish as I don't want to go a full season with Dan as our no. 1.
