Silly challenge. Started well enough too. Shame. -

Good block from Samson after a deflection there. Chalmers needs to watch the line and also not give the ball away so easy. Couple of times he has done that now. -

Doing fine so far. No real worries. McGhee must stay. -

I guess we'll see how we get on without them now! -
Because of your hard man talk you nutter. Which I'm sure you see the irony in when calling out someone else on it.....ah irony, facts, rational conversation....

Stop using facts. All we need is bombast and conjecture thank you very much.

Just building upon that comment about the run of games we have been on. Here's a statistic for consideration. Excluding Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen and Hearts (the top 4 for a reason). We are unbeaten since we lost to Dundee on 5th November. The game where Skippy's goal should have been given. Since then we've played the top 4 six times in the league (7 come the weekend) and once in the cup. It's some run and especially feels like a shit time given 5 of our first 6 games in 2017 are against the top 4. It was always going to be a tough ask to come away with many points. However you could argue the performances perhaps have magnified the difficulty of the task.

Aren't you a ray of sunshine. -
I think McGhee's time has come and we need some freshness. Just to say that up front. But, a lot the things being thrown his way - odd tactics, not changing things, poor subs, negative talk and setup for old firm games have been levelled at Baraclough, McCall, Gannon, Butcher, Brown. Basically every manager who has came through the doors in the past 15 years or so. It will likely happen again with the next manager.

Eeesh. Just watched the goals. So much wrong throuhgout the team Goal 1 - Defending appaling. Ball watching. Hammell loses a header, McManus gets in the way of the ball but should be closer and clearing it. Tait, and to a lesser extent Cadden, however are not even paying attention and just let the Aberdeen player run freely into space and score. Goal 2 - Moult seems to go with the man running to the centre of the goal (as no one else has tracked him) leaving him out of place to make a defending header against Considine. Goal 3 - Holy shit that's murder. Hammell couldn't do much to be fair. Lasley completely fucks it and miskicks it. Goal 4 - To be fair, that's a sublime finish. Although we were caught on the hop a bit and should have been closer to the players at the edge of the box. Goals 5 - Frear tries to kick it and does not see Logan coming and connects with the player. Seen them given plenty. Goal 6 - Front post marker. Tait should be getting that but either way McManus should be stronger and not letting Rooney bully him. Goal 7 - Pearson loses it. We are then out paced and outnumbered on the break with Tait nowhere to be seen Bowman's goal - good cross, another assist, by Tait. Good finish Pearson's goal - good finish in the space he had. Tait and McManus should be getting their arse toed these next couple of days in particular. -

Just because we have been horsed on the Wednesday doesn't necessarily mean the same will happen a few days later. I think most of us have been through enough seasons to see us pumped and then play well, and the opposite. Not saying we will win, and I think a defeat is on the cards. But, set up and play like we did against them in the 4-3 loss at Fir Park and there is a glimmer of hope....maybe... -
It's up to the board as a whole to sack him if they wish. Not one man, no matter who is mates with who.

Add Lasley to the pile. Another mistake from him today causing a goal. -

I'd say Albion Rovers was worse. Hearts 6-0 was on par, as was Celtic 7-0 Brutal stuff. -

3 years ago today. I'd take a late winner tonight! Also interesting the loopy Lasley goal was very similar to the one deflected off him against Hearts! https://twitter.com/spfl/status/831893607560929280 -

I am usually in the positive camp but I think we will struggle without McDonald and McHugh. Be happy with a draw I reckon. I think we will stick with 3 at the back and I'd go: Samson Heneghan McManus Jules Tait Cadden Clay Lasley Lucas Pearson Moult -
New Higdon. I'm calling it.
-
Goal for Blyth. Pushed in the box and scores the pen. That'll do the confidence no harm at all
-
Expected Blyth to start tonight. I'd rather he got 90 mins, or so, in the u20s than miss out and then sit on the bench tomorrow and only get 10 mins at the end up at Aberdeen Good McHugh can get a bit of competitive play as well during his red card break.
