  1. 3 points could be huge tomorrow. You'd be expecting Accies and Ross County to lose. Win and we could be 6 clear of bottom, 5 clear of 2nd bottom and a whisker off 6th. I'd expect Accies to be cut adrift over the next few weeks with their run of games and Ross County will struggle over the next two too. Could finally be the part of the season gaps start to form. We just need to be in the right bit!
  2. On the other hand it puts Accies bottom and they need to now play Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts and Rangers in their next 4 league games. Silver linings.
  3. Maguire has plenty time. Jules is a Scotland U21, looks promising and deserves a chance given his last performance.
  4. Jules for me at the weekend. Gave away the penalty against Celtic but other than that handled the game very well throughout the (near) 90 mins. See how he plays and take it from there.
  5. To be fair - they are quoting Celtic TV and saying they are wrong in the comments they make at the time during the live game. You couldn't really quote a commentator from highlights as they watch it before dubbing it.
  6. Blyth got another goal I noticed. Good on him.
  7. Edit: I'm entering new Zen state of mind.
  8. Samson Tait Heneghan Jules McMillan Cadden McHugh Lucas Pearson Moult Skippy ...is what I'd play. I would like to see Pearson in the centre but I am unsure of what Frear can do yet to really say I would start him.
  9. Good finish for the goal from Killie. Aberdeen should be a couple up I think though.
  10. If Lasley plays like he did yesterday then he can still go 90 mins no bother. I'm not his biggest fan but utilise him like he was yesterday and he's still a benefit. Let the others do the running and don't ask him to do it. Personally it's McHugh or Lasley for me in these upcoming games.wouldnt play them together.
  11. The main negative yesterday was the space we gave them down both flanks yesterday. Played it narrow, which worked in the main (and you can't really see from highlights), and stood off them on the wings.
  12. The performance of most on the pitch yesterday should give them confidence for the next couple of games. Dundee and Killie are very important games to pick up points before, as mentioned above, a tough three games against Aberdeen, St Johnston and Rangers. The 3 remaining games after that, pre split are very winnable against Hamilton, Thistle and Inverness. Definitely getting in to must win territory now. Still very tight in the league and whoever nabs 6th will be absolutely delighted as 7th down will remain tight to the end I would think.

Ben for me too. Samson, Clay, Lasley, Skippy and Bowman all contributed as well I thought.
  14. I'd rather have Hammy in there than Chalmers after watching it.
  15. Although we lost 2-0 there was a decent performance there. Strong through the middle of the team but lacked on the wings (we were playing narrow though) Chalmers found it difficult with Forrester running at him all game. But other than that we looked fairly solid. Didn't create a lot but had 2 or 3 good chances. Pearson should have put his away to level the game at 1-1. Heneghan and Jules did well (other than the pen). Clay and Lasley in the middle also worked. Moult and Skippy worked with what they could. Bowman also made a difference as I mentioned above.
  16. Jules with a couple smashing big runs from defence. Doing fairly well the 2nd half. Bowman has made a decent difference. Winning the ball and creating a couple of things
  17. He's done nowt today. Not adding anything to the game at all.
  18. Cadden didn't kick a ball today. Let's see what Bowman is up to today
  19. Aye Pearo is and he's doing a decent enough job to be fair.
  20. Did a lot well in the first half. Certainly first 35 mins. 2-0 seems a bit harsh I think. Jules let us down with that challenge. Chalmers lack of mobility and lack of pace is giving Celtic a lot of opportunity. Need to be better in position - quite a few players giving the ball away needlessly.
  21. Aye it was pen. Clumsy needless challenge from Jules as the Celtic player was running away from goal.
