  1. He was the BT sport pundit at the game - on their football scores show thing like Soccer Saturday.
  2. Late goal was stone kicker. But the bigger picture is it was good defensive performance overall and we have shown the last two games we are at least up for the fight. Prior to that with McGhee in charge we looked beat from the start.
  3. The lads booked today aren't really anywhere near the 6 yellow/18 pt mark for a suspension to kick in. So although we had a load booked it's not put anyone on the cusp of a suspension. Heneghan is already suspended next week so the yellow card makes no real difference unless he pick a up 5 more.
  4. When was the last time we loaned the club cash? I've kinda lost track. But I didn't think it was for a while.
  5. Delighted - did well against Celtic too. I'll try my hardest darling
  6. I think he needs two more yellows to trigger another suspension. Currently on 1 red, 6 yellows /30 pts. Second suspension at 36 pts from what I've read.
  7. Just noticing that Moult (v Dundee) and Heneghan (v Killie) are now at 6 yellows/18 pts for the season So, I think, Moult misses the Aberdeen game and Heneghan the St Johnstone game. Not ideal.
  8. Robinson also talked in the presser about options he has in the summer, from the point of view he agreed to come back until end of season knowing he had a couple of options come the summer. So he might not actually want it. I think we will appoint someone before end of the season. Doubt it will be Robinson.
  9. Aye that's a fair shout. Frear I thought did very well given he was playing left back at times. Made a difference going forward which was good to see. Bowman provided a much needed out ball and something different.
  10. Both are at fault. Even behind play the assistant should be seeing it.
  11. Absolutely.McGhee would never have brought on Bowman and Frear. Hats off to him, even if it was enforced - he chose two attacking players. You could also see we were very well drilled into a shape and there was a lot of talking and shouting on the park from our players. Great win and never a pen.
  12. Looking forward to the game as it stands. Let's see how that feeling is at 2pm when the teams are out, and then at 3.05pm when I have seen us play some football! I do hope we make a couple of unexpected changes to the norm. At the very least I hope a week of training on shape and roles, according to Robinson, has some visible effect.
  13. It's all sugar or all shite with every player it would seem. I think the problem we have throughout the team is the vast majority are just ok. Good at some things, shit at others. No more and no less. We need a manager and formation to get the best out of them and that has not happened enough this year. Play to our strengths, play to each player's strengths, change it early when it's not working and it's a good start. Hopefully that changes tomorrow.
  14. Aye I know that. A lot of people on here at the time did not it would appear. Funny.
  15. Aye possibly true But at the time it was all about the Footgolf....and that was funny.
  16. Always found it funny during the Footgolf 'incident' that people hooked on to it and started blaming it. Down time and 'other' activities have always been a part of pre-season...even McGhee's much heralded Austrian pre-season. It just wasn't documented. We might not have been fit enough - but it wasn't due an hour of footgolf being played. The club, I am sure, have learned their lesson from that and there will be no more fun videos. Pure fitness propaganda all the way promoting 23 hours of running and circuits a day.
