Fair enough I say, as well, aye. Papped out on loan and made clear he wasn't wanted. I'd probably say similar.

Finished up 18th December with the Indian team. So would have had 4-6 weeks without a game. -

Pearson has came into a vastly under performing team. To put the blame on him for those 4 performances is ridiculous. He's shown what he can still contribute in flashes, not for full games, I'll agree to that. But given how these games panned out show me one player who managed that. -
Can't see it...but imagine. McGhee to Kilmarnock Kilmarnock and Motherwell could be set to make an unintended managerial switch after it emerged Mark McGhee is among the leading candidates to take over at Rugby Park. McGhee exited Fir Park earlier this week after a string of poor results. Among the favourites to replace him in Lanarkshire is current Killie interim boss Lee McCulloch, who started his career at Motherwell. Imrie had a cheeky one the other night h as well. Took the ball but also took the top of Ryan Jack's foot and left him hobbling about in a fair bit of pain. Very similar to Skippy's I thought. But Jack didn't make a big deal of it...Not even a yellow.

That's even better. Social media engagement.
-
I really want that to be the way it was decided. Haha.
-
The MFC board of directors includes 2 of the well society board members. So it's not beyond the realms that those 2 did engage the others (is that another 4, soon to be 5 with Jay...I think) as part of the decision made.

Hard to know isn't it. Tait and Hammell will be in I'd think if fit. If not it leaves holes to fill. Could Craigan endorse a couple of U20s perhaps to get into the starting line up ahead of the current first team? Hard to know how much influence he has had in the past? Or did he agree with the manager not many were 100% ready yet? For sure I think we will see Chalmers papped oot. Either Hammell will take his place or Jules will. -
Posted elsewhere on this site that Alan Burrows prefers a DoF model but finances don't allow it at a club like ourselves currently. According to reports? It's been talked about and posted on here since the start of the season who made the recruitment decisions. Also mentioned at the AGM. COO, not CEO, by the way.

How Aberdeen didn't score in that game is beyond me. 70% possession 21 shots 20 corners Whit! -
Thankfully it's Robinson. So, no need to worry. :-) Craigan too.

http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/10785269/players-let-mcghee-down Comments from Robinson and Lasley here. Nothing outside the norm/expected, to be fair. However, it's mentioned at the start the club want someone in by the Aberdeen game on the 11th. So, it looks like we will be pulling the trigger on a new manager sooner rather than later.
-
The club have a difficult decision to make now: - Keep the interim team in charge until season end - Bring in a short term interim manager, who you would expect to be a trusted/experienced type manager. Then decide in the summer. - Bring in the permanent replacement, difficult possibly at this time of year to get who you really want perhaps. I'd imagine it will be a case of, interim team in charge and see how they do at the weekend, whilst sounding out, inviting applications in the mean time. If the interim teams start to get results you have some breathing space. If they don't you really have to try and stabilise things ASAP. One thing for sure though - Robinson, Faddy and Craigan have a tough 4 games coming up against Killie (A), Aberdeen (A), St Johnstone (H) and Rangers (A).

I've no idea - last time none of the names filled me with glee.

It was time. I never had a huge dislike for the guy like a lot did. But, as I said earlier in the thread it was clear the time had come. This will hopefully push a button within some of the players and maybe see some fresh ideas on the pitch tactically/selection wise All those who called burrows and the board out for not being able to do it, imposters and won't sack friends...retractions in the post aye? Or will we be shifting to 'they should have done it long ago' rhetoric?
-
Ridicule of course. Sensible and adult debate was ditched long ago!
-
I think that's harsh on McFadden for yesterday. He was the one man standing and barking orders out of the dugout in the first 45 while McGhee hid. If you think he was just bickering with the 4th official for 90 mins you weren't watching. Only reason I am sure on the above is I spent a lot of time looking down at the dugout from the main stand waitng for McGhee to pop is head out. I agree McGhee, Burrows, the chairman and the board have to do something.
-
I wouldn't think the board have even met yet as a group to discuss it. My guess would be it will be a Monday evening meeting/conference call given work commitments.
-
Was discussed at the AGM. First couple of menu items on the Well Society website explains the governance structure and transition towards how it should be long term for the club e.g. exec board, supervisory board & well society board as 3 entities.
-
Alan Burrows was on Twitter talking about it the other day. Likes the DoF setup but at a club like Motherwell not really financially viable. Also did say that the manger, in his opinion, should have first and last day with respect to recruitment.
-
I've no idea. 'Something different' is all I have at the moment. Simo is an obvious link given his name coming up last tie and the fact he just got sacked. Could be a go-er. It will be the same list of names at the bookies anyway. Craigan won't take the full time job if the noises he made last time are still his thoughts.

I've not posted much since yesterday as I don't think it's usually helpful to post with emotions running high. But, yesterday was the final nail in the coffin I reckon. I wasnt going to be surprised if McGhee went after Aberdeen. But watching the full Celtic game - and we actually did ok. So, I was positive about yesterday to an extent and not surprised to see the same back 4, especially with Tait not fit. A few striking things which has all the hall marks of a manager on the way out - Not changing things earlier in the first half when 90% of managers would have. - The same team coming out after half time. You could argue at maybe 1-3 you give the same 11 another go. Not at 1-5. - Only 1 sub the full game... - Hiding in the dug out most of the game and letting Faddy and Robinson do the shouting. A major sign. - His post match interview was all over the place and rings of a defeated man looking for excuses. Saying we missed Tait, Mick and Hammell, who shipped 7 to the Dons....is just ridiculous. Just admit the back 4, who did ok against Celtic were shit. Mixing up names of who was actually missing. Saying he has no other options. Of course he did, as he evidenced. It took until an hour to come up with McHugh into the back 4? I wouldn't usually be recommending getting shot of a manager in February but he's lost the majority of the fan base, looks defeated, trots out the same excuses, and it looks like starting to lose some of the players from the on field shouts that could be heard from the main stand back to the dugout. For what it's worth I don't think sacking him on a Saturday night would do anyone any good. Have the board conversation ASAP, make the decision, have the fall back/temp position agreed and then communicate it. I've got confidence Jim McMahon, as chairman, will do the right thing. I've also confidence Alan Burrows has the club at heart (which is madness to question if you've listened to the guy) and ultimately will do the right thing over any friendship.

He was all over the place in that interview. He said in the same breath about the defence "So, at least two of them will have to play" I think we'll see the defence that ended the game start it unless Tait is fit
