  1. You should be a politician! CMWellfan has made some suggestions but unfortunately the way he has put them across has resulted in most people turning against him no matter what he has to say now. Probably best if he takes suggestions to the club as some of them may be beneficial.
  2. It's far from clear in that photo but his feet seem to be over and he appears to be reaching further into the goal. Unfortunately though it wasn't given and it sounds as though Dundee have gained confidence and are well in control.
  3. Open all mics saying press box has a photo going round showing the ball a yard over the line for the 'goal' we weren't awarded.

Any chance of the rankings being updated? I don't expect to be doing particularly well but it's interesting to see how the placings.
  5. For all the skills he has, Ross Forbes just doesn't have the pace to make it in the top flight. A shame as he was a really exciting prospect during Gannon's European campaign.
  6. I know absolutely nothing about digital marketing. I'm sure there are ways to market this site (and CMWellfan's suggestions may well be valid in that respect) but I'm also sure that there isn't a need for this site to be marketed. The people that come on this site do so because they want to.Any other fans I know are aware of the site's existence and either look at it or not - through personal choice. The admins run the site on a voluntary basis and get my sincere thanks for doing so (I don't know any of them personally). I just don't see why they would want more work to get more site traffic if they're happy with things the way they are.
  7. One thing I've not seen mentioned is that Ainsworth's deliveries were very good. Our corners against ICT were floated in with no real purpose but there was a distinct improvement with Lionel putting corners and free kicks in with a bit of pace. Referees don't often receive praise but i thought he did well and played advantage quite sensibly a few times before pulling play back for a free kick if appropriate. It maybe says more about other refs that I thought it stood out.
  8. You've got some good ideas that I hope you can take to the club to see if you can help in some way. You've rubbed some people up the wrong way with a few comments but now that you've stated your line of business that helps to back up suggestions and your expertise can hopefully be put to good use. As a club we need to be considering all options and not just dismissing ideas without proper consideration.
  9. That's good to hear. Hopefully he can bring that on and into the first team as he offers something different.
  10. I was disappointed in yesterday's crowd but after Wednesday's performance I could see why some chose not to go. We've generally been getting around 3500 home fans this season but seem to be down 500 on the strength of one very poor performance.
  11. Does anyone know if the society has a desk for signing up in the Cooper suite or anywhere else before the game? This is a big chance to push membership.
  12. Good news. I've been meaning to join up for the direct debit for a while but haven't got round to it although I did join initially with the one-off payment - I'll now try to get my finger out and finally sign up! I know things don't look great on the park at the moment but hopefully we as a support can grasp the opportunity now rather than picking fault with every detail. As for free season tickets to under 18's, we already offer these to parents with season tickets and I'm not sure what the demand would be for an extended deal. Yes, we need to attract youngsters in but I think we should do this by making juvenile prices and season tickets affordable rather than just a give away. As for increased sales at the kiosks - yes, increased footfall would see an increase but there's only so much you can sell during a limited time, say 15 minutes at half time. It's already a struggle to buy stuff in the Cooper at half time without missing part of the game.
  13. He was on Off The Ball on Saturday - came across quite well in the bits I heard. Where does he serve pints?
  14. You can see why the club has needed short term loans from the Well Society at the beginning of the year when we can have a shortage of games in January.
  15. I wasn't expecting it to be hand delivered - I'm at the far end of Glasgow so would have been a bit of a trek! Had I known you were dropping the local ones off I could have given you my dad's address to save on postage. Anyway - it looks great - thanks for all the hard work.
  16. I received my two copies yesterday. Thanks - looks great and I'll surprise my dad with his copy later!
  17. I generally agree with you but surely the police identified those who ran on to the pitch at the cup final and caused trouble, not the SFA. The same approach should apply to the play-off and those that caused trouble should be identified. Banning everyone who went on to the pitch would be ludicrous as would the double standards. I suppose the other difference is the SFA can't really fine itself.
  18. I agree he needs more time but was the 54 minute game the one against non - league opposition when he got subbed for being completely ineffectual? I was really disappointed in his showing that night and that he didn't take his chance to shine when given the opportunity.
  19. Anyone know how Belic and Lucas looked against Accies?
  20. I was fortunate to be in hospitality that day, sitting at the back of the Thistle stand. Got a few glares when celebrating the goals but our host fully expected to celebrate, so we did. It's my local game but unfortunately I'm going to miss it as I'm away for a few days. We've been shocking there recently and I'd like to think we're due a win. Both teams deserved points taken off them last time, it was that bad.
  21. I can understand some players other than Moult getting a few votes as there were good performances throughout the team but Richard Tait? I've quite liked him in the games I've seen him in so far but the amount of crosses he allowed to come over was incredible. I've gone for the outstanding Louis Moult.
  22. One thing Accies have been good at over the past few years is supporting attacks with bursting runs from midfield. It's also something we've been susceptible to losing goals from. Stop that threat and keep tight at set pieces and we should win.
  23. One thing about Accies - they like to take a shot from distance.
  24. Did your director dress up as a stormtrooper for the last game of last season at Plymouth? The guy I know did, along with his adult son - and they lost 5 nil!
