  1. I'm very much in agreement with this take on it. Yes, I can be pissed off after a defeat but am normally over it by the time I drive home - nobody would listen to me anyway. A win though can lift my mood for a decent period and have me looking on here and searching for highlights.

    Rangers Motm

We seem to have a four - way tie. I wasn't there so can't vote but somebody should really add their vote in to sort this out.
  3. Just think - it'll probably be Derek Ferguson on Open All Mics!
  4. Where suits? Cooper suite? About 7.30? There must be others who could collect from you as well.
  5. I could collect my copies before Wednesday's game if you want, save you posting them.
  6. The manager also has no control over individual defensive errors. Certainly saw a difference in application, particularly in the second half and some fairly adventurous attacking substitutions.
  7. Tragic story although it does describe him as a former Motherwell star and then gives his career stats at the bottom and he played twice for us. I remember him for the scandal than actually playing for us.
  8. As for avoiding delay, I assume we were hoping the process would present options that were clearly preferable to Robinson. If that isn't the case and we continue with Robinson (who has already said he has options for the summer) then I wouldn't be too disappointed.
  9. Games in late 70s and early 80s against the old firm were regularly 22, 23 thousand. Don't know if they were sometimes a bit higher. They weren't generally pleasant experiences.
  10. Radio Scotland reporting a board meeting tonight to try to whittle names down to a short list of around 5.
  11. Depends what side the linesman is on. I believe he was on that side so should have seen it clearly.
  12. Probably what opposing fans think of McDonald. Having just watched a recording of the Alba highlights (admittedly with liberal use of the fast forward button) it looked as though Bowman got himself involved (in a good way) and I have to say it looked a penalty to me on the first viewing. i just can't see how Frear can win the ball there without taking some legs firat as he has so close to his feet. Poor Zak seems to being wrongly vilified for it in reports. Nice to see some threat from set pieces but we would be looking at Samson if he was the goalie for Jules' goal. Great win and great support throughout - well done to all who went and I heard Alan Preston praising the small group giving the constant vocal support.
  13. Coyle has just been asked on channel 5 championship programme about being bookie's favourite and said it was news to him and he was enjoying his time off.
  14. It was a special moment for him, scoring his 200th league goal. One you would have thought he would have wanted to celebrate with his own fans rather than trying to get a rise out of the visiting support. The penalty could have been his 100th league goal for Kilmarnock - shame!
  15. It's the grin on Garner's face after it that makes me laugh.
  16. Great win. There's been a lot made of some of our competitors beating higher ranked opposition but some of these, particularly Accies' two wins over Aberdeen, have sounded like absolute robbery and I've been left thinking when do we get this sort of luck? I couldn't think of a victory this season that we haven't seemed to deserve but it sounds as though it maybe came today. Although to contradict the stats, Alan Preston on the radio said he thought we probably deserved it.
  17. Even Walter Smith agreed it should have been two reds. Goalie picked the ball up a few feet outside his box and then took it back in with accies player bearing down on him.
  18. Having just watched the discussion after their cup game against Accies, it appears normal rules don't apply to Rangers.
  19. Was going to go today but can't now unfortunately. Before the Dundee game I predicted we would lose that to increase the pressure (just didn't expect us to do it so dramatically) and then beat Killie. Less confident now but hopefully we can dig it out.
  20. Msy have been. He was in the same year as my dad at Wishaw High although my dad didn't know him personally.
  21. I thought Kiernan's tackle on Hammell was much worse than the one a few nights ago with less control, off the ground and with studs showing. All things that were noted as being red card offences but, in my opinion, didn't apply to his tackle against St. Johnstone. This is going to come to a head soon (possibly now with Rangers being affected) and the rules clarified for players and supporters.
  22. I agree with your description but I don't think that would normally merit a red card.
  23. I honestly didn't think it was that bad and am not surprised they are appealing. One footed sliding challenge without studs showing. Rash tackle, yes but only a yellow in my opinion.
