  1. Is Teale their left winger? I can see us playing Carswell at right back which I think he'd do pretty well at but I think we'd miss him in midfield as he's put in some really good performances there in the past few games.
  2. Yeah, but is it not at Celtic due to their jaunt to Dublin to play Liverpool? Not a game in hand you would be expecting them to pick up points from.

    Jim Gannon

The usual sort of thing that comes up when there's an international break. Just don't get people started on McGhee!

A bit closer to home - Crawford Baptie also works for Arnold Clark as a manager at the VW showroom in Crow Road in Glasgow.

    Krasnodar

To be fair, it seemed that some of the Krasnodor guys who had been corresponding on here managed to get hold of the flags and return them to their rightful owners.
  6. Really? Who's rumoured to be buying and how much for? What sort of sell-on deal did Accies agree?
  7. There have been comments made Hollis at the goal but, sitting in the Cooper, I didn't think it was his to come for and he had no chance of keeping it out.
  8. You can usually still claim on a lost coupon if you give them the details. I didn't know about the o.g. rule though.
  9. I don't know if it's an away tie but if any of you Kuban guys can make it to Valencia you should make every effort to get there - fantastic city.
  10. I don't know a lot about ICT - what's Butcher's ethos? Sign a stack of players and hope some of them turn out to be good? I think there's only a small number of his summer signings are actually getting a game. We're a slower team in general in midfield and up front than last season so any addition of pace is welcome as it gives us options to vary the play.
  11. It wasn't a problem for a daytime game - you just parked at the shopping centre and walked through. Not sure for evening games, I assume the shopping centre closes the car park.
  12. Partick had 1500 for their tie on Tuesday, don't know about Morton. The crowds aren't turning out for the league cup these days. A home tie in the next round has more chance of being against a team with a larger support. It probably balances out but could be a cash flow issue.
  13. By the time the club pays out for season ticket holders to the opposition there's a good chance we'll make more of a loss from a home tie. There's no-one on that list is going to bring much of a support.
  14. I see he's 5 ft 5. Just imagine the reaction when he doesn't get his head on some of Hollis's kick-outs.
  15. Palmerston is one of the few grounds I've not been to so I wouldn't mind QoS but it would be a difficult tie.
  16. With Hearts and Aberdeen squeezing through on penalties does that leave Thistle as the only top flight team we can get or are they now seeded as well?
  17. I don't fancy their chances to be honest. I wouldn't mind a trip to Firhill for a few sociable beers but that's mainly because I live nearby.
  18. If I'm just pottering about the house, I quite enjoy these nights with updates from all the games coming through on the radio. As long as we're not playing - my nerves can't take listening to our games on the radio!
  19. A few of us were talking during the game about how solid Ramsden had been so we weren't at all surprised when he was given the sponsor's award but some of the guys behind us went absolutely mental!
  20. We were left exposed on several occasions when McFadden wasn't tracking back and he wasn't matching the runs at their one twos. At the time, bringing Kerr on seemed a strange substitution but it allowed him to do the legwork and McFadden looked far more dangerous in behind Sutton than in any of his midfield appearances I've seen this season. I thought maybe Sutton could have gone instead of Anier as we weren't providing any crosses. It would have been interesting to see if he could have made the runs for McFadden.
  21. I see they managed to beat Feyenoord 1-0. Good result but will it be enough?
  22. How did he look apart from missing the penalty? Fast would be good!
  23. Is he creative? Is he not more of a bustling centre forward? So when the transfer window closes at the end of the month, are we then only able to get players who are out of contract and loans are ruled out? Not that long to go.
  24. I thought we couldn't go into debt as nobody would give us a loan due to our financial history. I'm not sure how long the administration is held against us but I thought that was one of the main reasons for the 'Well Society.
  25. I think the Hearts support at Perth and hopefully the Aberdeen support on Sunday will show why chairmen around the country want the city clubs doing well. As long as we can still compete and live within our means I'm more than happy to take visiting fans' money.
