    Bbc Alba

If you download Zatoo you can get pretty much picture perfect BBC Alba
  2. AFAIK Leighton was on silly money at Aberdeen anyway - hence why he got the bullet, despite the smoke and mirrors from our ex boss
  3. From the last interview I read of his, he's preparing a lawsuit anyway.
  4. No such claims to fame from me, although we were playing Brannock / Taylor (always seemed the same to me) and my mate halfed Barry Ferguson after about 10 minutes and he had to be stretchered off.
  5. I wasn't there and hold no real opinion on this either way, but if someone is expecting to hear f*n**a* bastard at that part in that song, it will go along way to making that what they hear, if you see what I mean. The Tommy Burns version is I would say the most famous version of that "party song", so that'll be what people are expecting to hear at that point. Anyway, it was sad *e*i**n bastard that was alleged, which has the same amount of consonants as *hee* *haggin* bastar*
  6. Tough one. I'd say on paper the squad is worse. There's no doubting we've swapped some experienced pros , some quality pros, and some expensive pros for untried youth and lower league English players many of whom have no SPL experience. However, I think with Gannon's apparent "lack of respect" for the seasoned pros, and seeming tactical nous (although obviously only a handful of games in the SPL played so far so a bit early for sweeping generalisations), the "hunger" of the younger lads and his experience working with "poorer" players with potential we're in a stronger position. Players now know they're not guaranteed a strarting berth no matter what their surname is, and that's got to be good for the performances. Not to mention his preparation for games, and recognising the strengths and weakpoints of the opposition and setting the team out in a certain way - more or less stopping Kyle having any service v Killie a good example of this. It's also possible that losing Clarkson (which I felt was a big blow at the time) could work a la losing McFadden - we play better as a team and can gel better without him all over the pitch IMO. So erm, aye and naw.

    Signing #7

Word. When I think back to how desolate I was feeling as our players were being punted and our manager kicked sand in our face, it's fucking unbelievable how much things have turned around in such a short space of time. Only the start of his tenure obviously, and plenty of troughs to counter the peaks no doubt, but have to say "there's a buzz about the place"
  8. Where are you seeing the draw guys?
  9. We'll get a few stray beans for him for development fees anyway, although lion's share will go to the scum.
  10. Well there's a couple of Midden supporters on P&B (I know, but I think one of them is pretty reliable and not usually to be seen on the wind-up) who claim there's been a couple of offers on the table for a while, and one them is quoting 40k from Accies but Hammell doesn't want to move. They're definitely talking about it as if they know something we don't. Put as much faith in that as you like...
  11. BBC gossip claiming Hammell is subject of a bid from Accies
  12. "But I have always found when I've had to play against teams I formerly managed they have had an extra edge" I wonder why that is?

  17. Anyone have Hately wide right in their predicted line ups then?
  18. MTF guys it's some unknown youngster. He's been on trial with us FFS why would we "trial" someone who is touching on an EPL first team?
  19. Some of the tackles as well...
  20. O'Brien has looked a really dangerous player in most of the games this season. Only person to offer something - could take on men and hit shit crosses all day. But then, if he could take on men and deliver perfect crosses he wouldn't be with us. Has came on leaps and bounds since he signed up and if he can continue this progress under Gannon we could make a few bob off him medium term. Get him signed (and teach him how to cross)
  21. To be fair to McGhee, maybe he didn't think the boys were ready to play for the first team yet. They were a year younger, and at that age a year is a long time. In the push for top six he obviously thought experience was our best bet, rather than pushing the youngsters in too early. Obviously, the subsequent banter regarding these Slane / McCart dealings if true render him an absolute fucking scumbag c**t of the highest order, but these boys maybe needed the extra year and someone with a bit more faith in youth to perform to the levels they seem to be capable of at the moment.
  22. They said on the commentary yesterday that they would be up tonight
  23. In his interview he explicitly stated "We needed players who were going to take more responsibility to pass the ball properly and attack with a bit of what we call slick and quick". AFAIC that's why Craigan was hooked - maybe he'd been told to lead by example and keep it on the deck, and when he hadn't, off he came?
  24. Hopefully he didn't tell Gannon to go fuck himself in the dressing room
