  1. They did, and it is, so maybe they'll repeat their mistake.
  2. Moult's injured. No idea how long for, but surely they won't be letting Watt go anywhere just now unless they're skint.
  3. As I said, I've no problem with anyone thinking certain players aren't good enough for us, far better than Bair have had that accusation thrown at them. It's the amateur stuff I can't agree with. Ideally, we'd be signing higher quality all over the park, but we are where we are these days, and we're not on our lonesome. Bair being so high up the scoring charts proves that.
  4. Took him to 24, but he's into double figures now. We'll all have our opinion on how good he is, same as every other player we sign, absolutely no issues with that. Stats may prove he's not the greatest striker to grace Fir Park - they also show only 10 guys have scored more goals than him so far this season. They certainly don't suggest he's incapable of playing above amateur level or isn't good enough to be regarded as a footballer.
  5. I'd be interested to know what stats suggest he is not a footballer.
  6. Yeah, I know you think certain players aren't fit to play professional football. How's that going?
  7. Fair point, although 2 years can make a big difference at that stage, as can the club you're with. Doesn't always work this way, but I'm sure we'd expect more from an 18 year old coming from Arsenal than an 18 year old with Alloa. Experience wise, the Eredivisie is clearly of a higher standard than the Canadian Premier League. The boy might turn out to be a great player, but if Kettlewell wants signings who will make a difference between now and May and our finances are as stretched as we're repeatedly told, I doubt he should be looking at someone who has been playing professional football for 6 months at that level. We've enough kids of our own with skelfs in their arses.
  8. I agree about potential investors. Anyone looking to make a profit from a club our size is either bonkers or worth the watching. I suppose bonkers would be the preferred option, so maybe that's who this video is aimed at.
  9. You don't use social media to attract potential investors?
  10. A photo of him holding 3 eggs on Twitter. Seriously.
  11. He was on trial with Luton's development squad, so he's obviously rated, but we really don't need to bring in a teenager who has played around 20 games to help keep us up.
  12. Robbie Mahon away to Dundalk on a permanent deal.
  13. He commented on one of the Facebook posts. Thought it might be another Les Hutchison, but seems to be him alright. "I love it ….. well done guys 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 A more positive, light hearted approach may create some interest. The old negative attitude “it’s going to fail …. It will never work” …… hasn’t worked so far. Good to see a more positive approach. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ COYW"
  14. Anyone know nything about Max Willoughby? Apparently he's a Motherwell defender who Rangers, Bournemouth and Norwich are after, but to be honest, I've never heard of him.
  15. How do you advertise and seek out investors on social media without making it glaringly obvious you're looking for money?
  16. It appears to have caught the eye of Les Hutchison and elicited a favourable response, so I suppose you never know who else might like it. As others have said, at least it's getting noticed.
  17. Fair point, but if giving new contracts to shite players is what he meant by rewarding failure, we are absolutely not the only club who do that.
  18. Ok. Leaving the naming of stands aside, who were you saying has been rewarded for failure?
  19. I don't think anyone else would describe Hunter, Cooper, O'Donnell or McLean as failures. Although, if no wins in 16 games had been considered a sacking offence, wee Tommy definitely wouldn't have been as successful.
  20. 1 win in 16 games might get his name on a stand, never mind a new contract.
  21. If that interview is to be believed, there is no desire at board level to bin Kettlewell. McMahon's here till the end of the season, and even if a new CEO was appointed next week, surely they couldn't be told to sit on their hands and do absolutely nothing about his contract? That means the obvious move, which some folk won't like one little bit, is to extend it.
  22. I'll take a punt on Dougie Arnott, since he worked in the bar when Dempster was there, seemed to jack it pretty sharpish and I don't remember seeing him doing anything at Fir Park for a while. And now somebody'll point out they were sitting next to him at the Livi game.
  23. I wondered if it was him, but he's definitely set foot in Fir Park as part of his media job.
