  1. Not to speak ill of anyone, I'll say he was a memorable teacher. The 2 Whiteford brothers were PE teachers at my school anaw.
  2. Some were saying our squad was pish, some were saying it wasn't. Anyone in the former category would have a point regarding Wright's lack of impact vs Alexander's success. Bit more difficult to compare if you always thought we had a decent side, as Killie fans seem pretty united regarding their pishness. I'm happy we got the right man.
  3. Few weeks back it looked like a clear out was needed, but some of the more maligned players have came onto a game. Results, good or bad, can blind you to a lot of things. Be interesting to see who folk would want to keep now, and who they still think won't cut it long term?
  4. Hamilton and Ross County have their games in hand against 2 out of form teams next Saturday. Results go our way, especially in the Accies game, we're virtually safe.
  5. I never liked strikers who look pissed off when their teammates score, but he manages to look pissed off even when he scores. He's got ability, just not enough to carry off that attitude.
  6. Can we have Stevie Kirk there every week?
  7. One of his passes looked moody, if that's even possible.
  8. He was singing Magloire's praises in the papers yesterday, so you know what that means.
  9. Imagine leading 6-2 away from home and almost losing.
  10. Another boot in the baws for Livingston. Gerrard sent to the stand. Copycat.
  11. I'd still go for a St Johnstone win. I'd rather chase them down than have Accies 3 points closer to us, given they'll be rubbing their paws at the thought of our next meeting.
  12. Remember Willie McKenzie, the trainer with the mid 70s team - would the older guy in the top picture be his brother Thomas? He started off in the 1931/32 league winning squad, played in 2 cup finals for us and was a coach/trainer for a long time after he retired. Just discovered Sammy and Billy Reid were their nephews.
  13. Missed his spell as manager by a season, but my dad told me all about the Ancell Babes as we sat in the stand Ian St John helped build.
  14. Yeah, contracted till May 2022. Always good to see one of our own break into the team, but never having seen him play I don't know how likely that is.
  15. It would depend on whether a decision's been made on Morrison's future at the club. He wouldn't be back right now were it not for the injuries and Chapman being hopeless.
  16. Is there a best result for us today? Both know they won't get a better chance at lifting a cup, so - St Johnstone win, they're on a high for Hamilton midweek, Livvy on a downer for Saturday? Never goes how you think, but another performance like yesterday should see us ok. 2-0 again.
