Alexander's getting more bookings than the Brothers.
-
Carroll's reading of the game's really poor at times.
-
Insipid. Kinda matched his performances. You don't want panic setting in, but verbally shrugging your shoulders doesn't inspire much confidence. I don't think he's a bad guy or that he's not trying, but I'd be looking for more from him. Hopefully starting tonight.

Would explain the missing signings, right enough.
-
I don't think anyone's suggesting Gallagher ate the youth team in Dominos.
-
I'd go with that.
-
You'd have to bring O'Donnell back in, even though he's been disappointing. I get the square pegs/round holes argument folk are making, but with what's available, it must be tempting to go with the best you have (?) and find a way to make it work. Maybe. Johnstone at least looked interested, but moving him into an unfamiliar position on his second start at 17 would obviously be really unfair on the laddie.

The January signings were up for discussion when folk thought they were gonnae play. The fact some now can't only increases the questions. I'd say more baffled than (mock) outraged, but that could easily change.

Have the club said anything about Smith and Foley being injured, or did I just read it on here? And has anyone anywhere heard a single peep about the fabled Eddie Nolan since he lifted his head? I know it's not necessarily the most pressing issue, but seeing as we're in the midst of an injury/illness crisis, you'd think...

As long as we stay up, Alexander should be given time to sort things out. If we go down, either he goes or Burrows walks, because someone has to take responsibility for this shambles. Whatever happens, the recruitment guru is toast.

Which brings us back to the original claim in the papers regarding an extension about to be triggered. If anyone believes team Gallagher wasn't involved with that snippet getting out, belated birthday wishes, hope yesterday was fun. Make your own minds up about what's going on at Fir Park, but one thing's obvious: not everyone's pulling in the same direction.
-
Who? Why? When? That's this season in a nutshell. It felt out of control before Alexander came in, steadied briefly, now it's come off the tracks again. We're still in charge of our own fate, but fate seems to be pissing on us from a great height.
-
I see your point, but he's really big and could batter me.
-
I'm not having a go at the guy or suggesting he's a donkey, but I've seen enough to guess his size and playing style are going to make him a target for referees. And is our team set up to help a player like Smith? Even if he's available, I can't see him starting and he's not the guy to bring on if we're trying to see a game out, so it's probably gonnae be last 10 minutes Hail Mary time he's given. Another signing that leaves you asking, why?
-
No matter what Jordan White did or didn't offer, we replaced him with Harry Smith. That sums up why we are where we are.
-
No.

It's the incontinent incompetents on the park you're needing to have a word with. I'm no sure when a fans forum ever relegated a club.
-
Didnae help the big tube when he masterminded us putting 6 past them at Fir Park a couple of weeks before he moved.
-
Supposedly, Stephen O'Donnell's his agent and he's got a tattoo of Liam Polworth on his arse.
-
'mon we'll start a rumour he wants back, just for the entertainment value.
-
You wonder. Probably nail the coffin lid shut, knowing this lot, but at least we'd feel better for a wee while. Actually, 'knowing this lot' might be half the problem. There's a total disconnect between half this team/the manager and the fans. But it's the same everywhere, so reason or not, it's no excuse.
-
Sorry, I'm struggling to see any positives. If there's player power in action, how are we gonnae fix that? They've seen Robinson off, Lasley was gone in 90 minutes, now Alexander's struggling. If - and it beggars belief - everything's rosy, we're dealing with an entire team of injured/ill players (half of whom we've no real clue when they'll return), another team that's clearly not up to the job and a bunch of January signings, who are either dross or MIA. There's nothing to suggest any of our 'problem' players are likely to suddenly find new form or attitudes at this late stage, and there's nowhere left to turn. Same with the manager. Alexander only needs to keep us up, no one expects anymore now, but we don't expect anything less either. If some of the squad, especially the ones we really need, aren't performing for him, he's screwed. And if he persists with tactics that are getting us hammered, there will be questions about his future very soon. Whatever the situation, it's his job to find a way to survive. Worst thing is, we have zero influence over this. We're sitting at home watching a disaster unfolding and no amount of positivity or negativity on our part will make the slightest difference.

No hassle. I realised Tony Watt hadn't been banging them in for a while, or he wouldn't have ended up here, but I thought he'd got quite a few for Airdrie. Think I've mixed him up with someone else, just cannae mind the guy's name. Apart from Kelly, I struggle to see what any of that squad would offer sides at a higher level. A bigger wage is all they could aim for and I'm sure one or two will find that.

That would be me not realising he'd scored so few goals elsewhere. He might be our best player this season, but the idea he was ever in with a chance of making the Euros is ludicrous, and I've never seen anyone on here suggest that. Mibbe you know who came out with that. As for the other two, they literally are international defenders, but I doubt too many would refer to them as superstars. Apart from the club, and they might no be pushing that patter anymore.
