  1. I can think of a few who need it, but who did you mean for Hunt? Or did you misspell Polworth?
  2. Saw a picture of him celebrating a Celtic cup final win, Alfie Conn and Paul Wilson in there too. Plus Andy Lynch, who scored as many goals for Motherwell in a single night as Seedorf and White combined have managed in their time here.
  3. Because it's not years later, it's this season and basically his squad. His future reputation with fans - not the media - will depend on whether we stay up or not. If you were fed up reading folk's views on him, it was easy enough to ignore the thread. Look back a few pages and amongst the hot topics 'clogging up the servers' are, several more on Robinson, Turnbull, Tait, Vigurs, Lambert and Esteban Casagolda.
  4. I'll keep an eye out for it turning up in the Barcelona fans forum.
  5. I see the Stephen Robinson thread's gone. Was it sacked or did it resign?
  6. Man Utd tried our bye kick routine today. And Liverpool scored.
  7. I remember a few games where we were lucky to register more than one or two shots on goal, but I can't argue with their 'modest' goal scoring career records.
  8. Though it's hard to judge any forward too harshly with a non existent supply chain behind them.
  9. There's the problem. We may have decent young guys at the club, but are we likely to get the chance to develop them into first team players before they're off? Not that it matters when it comes to keeping us up this season. No sure how we can dismiss getting a short term fix from the Old Firm on the basis they might reap the benefit long term.
  10. The more I see the penalty that should've been, the worse it looks from our point of view. I don't buy that our players missed it - anyone watching the game saw it straight away and Alexander was chirping at the fourth official - so why the feck were they not screaming at the ref? If that's how bothered they are about things, the game's up.
  11. If an appeal fails, do they still double the suspension?
  12. From Pie & Bovril, 2016, as Craig Napier was leaving the Juniors for professional fitba: The man is an embarrassment to referees ! Quick story when I was "briefly" in charge of Craigmark last season he booked me for a light hearted comment? I was putting a sub on (14) and he asked "where is no14? I replied.... "Somewhere between 13 and 15!!!! Booked for being a smart arse????
  13. Mibbe he called Ferguson a **** Lionel Hutz could get him off on that.
  14. Does it make a difference what he said?
  15. I'm optimistic for Wednesday, but in the event we lose, some folk are gonnae need to be realistic. It's a cliche because it's generally true, the table doesn't lie. How good we think we are or how bad our luck's been means nothing if there's no upward movement. Alexander will know this and if any players are in denial about our predicament, they need wised up, sharpish. Wherever our next win comes from, it'll be a surprise. Might as well get started this week.
  16. Where's Max von Sydow when you need him?
  17. Blackpool are interested in Seedorf. They're gonnae play him between the South and Central piers.
  18. Given the circumstances, can't sniff at a draw. But if we don't fancy our chances against Ross County, we really are in deep shite. 2-0 the Well.
  19. I'll be ultra positive. All games are winnable, and other than the Old Firm, nobody's THAT much better than us on any given day. But it's up to the manager and players to change the trajectory of our season, because right now we are a play-off team at best. Decent additions will help, players up for a fight will help (Kelly ticks both boxes), the new manager will hopefully help (though the repeated fiasco at short corners today is concerning) - and getting shot of certain hopeless or gutless wonders will definitely help. Wednesday will be huge, given the psychological effect defeat could inflict.
  20. Haha, this could go on a while. We got a doing off Hamilton, picked up points in the next two, lost today. I doubt Ross County's scudding at Ibrox will help us on Wednesday. They can't possibly be any less confident of winning than we are right now.
  21. Fair enough. I'd suggest there's negativity in the squad that's causing more problems than anyone on here.
  22. I hear you. But bad luck has the same results as poor play. We've gone this far without any sign our luck's gonnae change, so they need to dig themselves out. Get beat on Wednesday and the alarm bells would give Quasimodo a sair heid.
