Sorry, I meant leagues, specifically. The Welsh clubs who play in the English leagues are invited to play in the Welsh Cup. Some do, some don't. But if they win, UEFA does not allow them to qualify for Europe as a result. They have to do that through English competitions. I know there are quite a few teams who don't play in their own country's league, but has any club ever fielded sides in leagues of more than one country simultaneously?

Are there any clubs who have teams playing in more than one country?

The logistics of teams from one country playing in another could no doubt be worked out, if there's big enough money to be had. But I don't know how those clubs could then have colts sides competing in a different league. If they want to - and can - piss off, fine by me. They've made sure no one else in Scotland can possibly compete with them anyway.

Surprised we didn't pay an inflated transfer fee.

"Do you recognise this voice?" "Naw."

Remember the '52 guys saying nobody ever asked them about their final until 1991. Changed days.

Our problem there is, we might make decent money off them, but playing wise, we'll see very little return. Half a season from Turnbull, less from a decent Hastie. Some are off before they reach the first team, hence the reason I don't even know their names. Good business financially, but it'll catch up with us eventually if we don't source and bring in players of a reasonable standard.

That's the only time you're gonnae see the words 'fit' and 'Eddie Nolan' in the same statement.

Oh well, got him out the house at least.

He's done what he was obviously asked to do, keep us up. The standard of football has been pretty dire, but ok, doesn't really matter, given the position we got ourselves into. Next season it will matter, because it has to. We're no the biggest or the richest, but that level of performance can't be what we aspire to. Everything's up in the air.

Wish I could remember who telt me Lafferty was an utter waste of space.

Don't want to hear any game management or lack of quality players stuff, that was pish by Alexander.

Our tactics would work if we could pass and were clinical up front. Since neither is true, they're honking.

Callachan. Had a couple of niggles at O'Donnell earlier. He can keep it up, as long as he doesn't injure one of our guys.

Yes!!!

Cos we're f****n' Hamilton, sorry, widnae happen to anybody f****n' else. Meltdown.

Cheerio.

That Callachan's a prick. Hopefully off before too long.

Their carpet's went all shiny. Very distracting.

I see they've let the Hamilton fans back in.

If we get the first goal, 3-0.

Mibbe. And if it costs 20 quid to stream a game, they lose that revenue too. Question is, do they want fans in the stadiums or not?

And once they're gone... Got to lower admission prices. £12.99 to sit on your arse versus 20-30 quid, plus travel, plus food/drink. I don't know how much revenue streaming's brought in, but keep it going as it is and you're gonnae have empty stands.

The fact footage of Motherwell from that era is very limited in comparison to today, where every miskick is available from every imaginable angle, certainly helps the legends. Further back you go, better they get. Listen to my dad and you'd think the Ancell babes were the Man City of their day. Playing on coo parks isn't something anyone misses, but tonight we're playing 'see who can get the ball to bounce the highest', so swings and roundabouts in that respect.

Aye, rose tinted specs. I wouldn't want to - couldn't - take our wee girl to a game if things hadn't changed. But they are some of my happiest, clearest memories, and I'm glad I've got them.
