  1. the h**s did not enjoy that we did everything we set out today except score. the murphy and ojaama partnership looked promising. that pace and movement could cause massive problems next season.
  2. he is 30. not that old at all he's got another 4 seasons in him at least which is a long time in football. 100% you only have to look at what has went on at hibs and aberdeen recently to see what happens to clubs that don't have the right kind of characters in the dressing room and very little commitment to the club. craggs will probably bow out next week and las might only have one more season in him. hammell earns his money on the park as he is incredibly consistent but i don't think you can put a value on the leadership our senior players have provided over the last couple of years.
  3. they don't have to accept it if they are offered more elsewhere. signing hammell should be our priority. we need to figure out some way of getting rid of omar and giving his dough to stevie.
  4. i think it's just to do with costs going up and income staying steady. ticket prices are static while everything else is getting more expensive. derek weir has said that we would have had had to cut costs 12 months ago if wasn't for the cup final. the thought of hammell or lasley joining another spl club because we won't pay them the wage they are due while omar picks up a wage here next season makes me think bad thoughts.
  5. i'm a bit worried about hammell. reading between the lines of his interview the other day he isn't happy about being offered reduced terms. considering his contribution you can't blame him and i think the club have a few problems on the horizon if they expect the guys that are out of contract this year to take a wage reduction while the guys that have a year to run - randolph, law, higdon, hateley - remain on the current wage structure.

    Pitch Invasion

i'm fairly certain someone did boot him in the arse as they ran by. more of a sidefooter than a full blooded kick but unless my memory is playing tricks on me it happened. we had a bye kick at the end of the game and most of the players gathered round the tunnel for a sharp exit. the valiant ross stuck to his left wing task and then began to wander towards the other touchline seemingly unware of the tsumani of bams about to envelop him from the east.
  7. micheal johnston will be kicking himself for stressing over the fact they owe out £10 million quid. apparently it's not a big deal. if the guy that wrote this letter thinks anyone at killie has a say in what they vote over rangers he's clueless. lloyd's bank will be telling killie how they are voting.

    Pitch Invasion

this is why ps. superintendent barr was talking shite.
  9. i emailed nasa this question and a crack team of scientists came up with the answer "because if rangers weren't here the budget would have to be reduced by a much greater amount"
  10. it was a nice change to benefit from his terrible defending in january after him costing us so many goals last season.
  11. dundee united are hugely over rated. they have a mini old firm syndrome going on due to having a daily paper in the city and jim spence who combines his bbc role with being chief of propaganda at tannidice. has anyone actually seen mackay steven have a good 90 minutes?

    Pitch Invasion

i remember in 2005 there was a lot of warnings not to invade the park if celtic clinched the league at fir park on the final day. it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if skippy hadn't sent all the tims home before the final whistle.

    Points Tally...

have you adjusted for 3 points for a win vs 2 points? it's a great total but i think getting 60 points in 2007-08 was a better achivement. the league as a whole was stronger and we took points off the old firm when they were both doing very well in europe.
  14. they could be. bayern win seeds - braga, kiev, psv, copenhagen, fenerbahce non seeds - motherwell, romanians, dinamo moscow, paok/aek, belgians chelsea win seeds - kiev, psv, copenhagen, fenerbahce, belgians non seeds - motherwell, romanians, paok/ aek
  15. his attempt at a dive was cringeworthy. he needs to cut that out.
  16. i've just spotted they play 33 games in denmark (11 xs 3) so there are 4 games to go. copenhagen being seeds would be decent if it pushed fenerbahce out. so a hex on copenhagen and mon the nordesjelland!
  17. denmark - nordsjaellend have it pretty much wrapped up and they are ranked 174 - we're 189 - which is below every club i've mentioned. to be honest it would probably be less hassle getting to athens than it would be to denmark. in holland we need feyenoord to drop points against heeveren on sunday and psv to beat relegated excellesior. if feyenoord get the place it's extremely unlikely they would be seeded so no holland for the well. fingers crossed for heeverern on sunday.
  18. just got back in from daniels. russia - cska beat lokomotiv and dinamo drew with spartak. so that leaves cska on 72 and dinamo on 70 with 2 games to go but dinamo have the tiebreaker. ideally we want cska to drop points and dinamo to win both games to avoid russia. holland - psv and feyenoord both won. psv play the bottom team on sunday while feyenoord play heereven who need to win to guarantee a europa league place. hopefully feyenoord drop points and psv win to make holland an option. greece - paok cut panathanikos's lead to 2 points with 5 games to go. paok winning the mini league for the CL would suit us. belguim - brugges are 3 points ahead of genk and 4 ahead of gent. brugges have a tough run in though and play genk on the 10th of this month. brugges are the team i'd like to see us playing so hopefully they can pull it off. romania - rapid and vasui won which suits us. fifa.com had steaua playing tonight but the game doesn't appear to have taken place as it stands... bayern win - cska, braga, kiev, panathanikos, fenerbache chelsea win - kiev, panathanikos, fenerbache, brugges.

    Ssn In Jds

i can't think of any motherwell fans that would be interested in that..... aye right!
  20. lasley for me. he's led by example all season.
  21. we'll see if anyone is principled enough to miss a champions league qualifier at fir park
  22. our player of the season in his final two seasons, we would be mad not to take him back if possible. craig brown has ruled out signing him for aberdeen as he thinks he is too similar to vernon and fallon i also spotted that zander diamond has been freed by oldham. if we were to sign him then that would be me finished with scottish football as i couldn't support a club that employed this cretin but i might still occasionaly go to games when he is suspended or injured or it's europe or a cup final or a semi final or christmas or new year or sunny.
