we got what we deserved. Too many passengers who thought they were billy big times and could stroll it in the first half. Lasley and hutchy are the only ones who get pass marks. Mckay dived for their pen but that must be the 7th or 8th time henrik has been booked for diving, he needs to cut it out. Putting on kerr was a mistake, we won games with ten men by attacking last season we should have put boab on. Mccall just called ojamaa for diving on the radio.

we got letters sent out last season explaining the financial short fall and reprecussions relating to the rangers debacle and most people said they were fine with it. much like the promises of increased attendances and paying into club 12 there seems to be a lot of fans who make promises they instantly forget.
-
no it's not. aalesunds stayed at that five star plus hotel in blysthewood square. flamutari and llanneli definitely didn't.

the budget will be cut but we'll still have the funds to replace players. randolph, law, hateley and humphrey are all on good money. saunders and daley's wages will be available, maybe hutchy and higdon. it'll be down to whether we stick with out model of paying a few relatively high wages or change to the model of kilie and st johnstone with more players on smaller wages.

i was thinking about various ends to the season yesterday and flashbacked to this game. as i remembered it we had the chance to relegate hearts but having a look at it we would have put them in a play off with dunfermline had we won or secured a point. here's the match details i was at the game but 11 years old so my memory is a bit hazy. all i remember was it was sunny, we were in an uncovered bit of seating behind the goals, the toilets were disgusting, colqhoun diving for a penalty and for some reason a strong dislike for craig nelson. i'm quite interested in how keen the well support was to gain revenge on mclean for walking out on us and if failing to do so took the shine off second place for anyone? also how did aberdeen manage to go from second one season to second bottom the next (good enough for them though )?
-
he was 100 times better on sunday than he was up at aberdeen.
-
there is definitely a player in there, hopefully the big man fulfills his potential and maybe even does a craggs. i think a couple of poor games in the run up to the cup final damned him in mccall's eyes.
-
Celtic would have stepped it up if they were challenged. We had a hard start to the season playing 9 games in 34 days which set us back but our bad form in the autumn cost us. It's mystifying how the players who are playing so well just now struggled so badly then.

Away from prize money and the game.... The east stand is greatest place to watch football in the world.
-
I know. I was hoping that we'd be getting the extra money and I was disappointed when I found we wouldn't but I think the club deserve credit for putting principle before profit. We need to focus on changing the 11-1
-
The club has always been in favour of making the prize money fairer so it would be hypocritical to vote against it because we're due extra cash. Hopefully we show the same principles regarding changing the 11-1 before Sevco returns.

Las was different class. Humphrey and Hateley were superb as well.

i just think it makes our club look bad that we are laying out the red carpet for a club that continually and publicly shows us no respect. when we beat them a couple of months ago lennon was straight on the radio saying we didn't deserve to win. respect is a two way street.
-
why should we applaud a team as classless as celtic. Think of brown's remarks after the cup final, lennon's comments after we beat them this season the disrespect they have shown the poty nominees. Lets make it clear from the stands we know what they are
-
if the celtic players are boycotting the awards dinner why should we honour them?
-
clear anti celtic bigotry.
-
aye. belters.
-
if celtic offered more or the same as sheffield united offered for murphy then we were extremely stupid not to take it.
-
that finbogason boy at 18 played against us for breidabliek. good player.
-
the mccormack, clarkson and porter trio would was pretty good. you would back all three of them to hit 20 goals this season.
-
ted bundy was apparently a lovely guy when he wasn't raping and murdering. popcorn teeth said is he suggesting that the list should be 4 celtic players? surely the fact that he can't choose one or two players himself explains why he does't have one player on there? commons - fat, diving bastard who is only good at shooting. hooper - "£9 million" striker outscored by journeymen free transfers forster - a couple of good games in europe do not make a season. wanyama - lennon's think he's worth £25m. juan mata cost £25m. lennon may slightly over rate this average player.
-
mccart was murder at that point, punted to falkirk for a reason. i'm sure he got injured in one of those seasons and we went on a great run with philliben playing? randolph hateley hutchinson mio hammell mcfadden lambert o'donnell mckinnon arnott coyne
-
i heard third hand - via a guy who played with samson at ayr - that we were interested in him a couple of months ago. No idea about magowan but he has a reputation of being a bit too fond of partying, not sure i'd want him.
-
being shite over the course of a decade is always going to be remembered. Everytime we thought we had seen the last of him he got back in. Anyone who loses their place to kaven and douberdeaux is gash.
-
i think the present team might beat the 94 team due to superior fitness and the game having moved on in 20 years however.... Relatively there is no comparison, this team were gubbed by two decent but nothing special european teams. The 94 team gave a great account of themselves in dortmund against genuine world class players. The 94 team had krivocapvic, lambert and coyne who all did well at a high level at different times plus phil, big buff and mvckinnon who were capped. This teams best players are likely to end up in 2nd or 3rd tier english teams. No one from this team is going to be making world class defenders look like mugs at the next world cup or winnig the champions league any time soon.
