Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse

We could play for the next 2 hours and not create a goalscoring chance

We’re going to get hit on the break again aren’t we. I’m imagining it’s going to be down dundees left side

Is it normal to scream at the tv telling sparrow to speed up.

Can’t argue with longelo coming off but sparrow should be next. He’s all over the place and his final ball and passing is appalling. Every bit of danger is down dundees left

Why is Hodge having to mark players at corners…. He’s a time bandit. You are as well having him out the way, pointless him being in there as Dundee know to launch it in his direction.

Changes now please Alfred

I just want to see a few shots on target with this wind behind us…. Is that too much to ask

Losing my patience with the defensive situation here. Moorman would be fine if playing beside a McGinn or an Odonnell but JGR and Sparrow are not up to it. We have Longelo who is a poor defender and a keeper who thinks he’s a better footballer than a goalie. as I say this we score…. Cmon well. sort it out at half time FFS

SODs and JKL should be in for Sparrow and JGR

This has got huff and puff and frustrating as fk written all over it. not convinced he put the right team out to start with and the ones who I thought should be dropped are where we are having problems.

Not particularly happy with that side …. There are a few guys there who don’t deserve to be there.

English journos saying that Hibs have asked permission from Bristol to speak to Steve Evans…. Steve fkn Evans? What in the name of ozempic is happening here… Happy to have our Alfred thanks

Looks like Dundee have a bit of an injury curse going on? Reilly, wright, Murray, finnegan out and Hamilton is a big doubt for Saturday... good news ….. maybe? Who knows?

Similar lines to what I’d pick, possibly Levitt for Hodge and I think I’d go for Thor up top. I think he has something to offer more than PH. I’d maybe also shift SODs and JKL my concern with Alfred is he’s potentially blinkered a bit by Sparrow’s effort v ability

It’s the most important game we’ve had in a while, we really need a reaction after that horror last night. last season after the St Mirren game we were pretty shell shocked and scrambled a 1-1 at Aberdeen the week after before we found our feet again. Dundee are decent but a bit erratic in their performances. As much as I think we could win this, I think I’d settle for a draw. A clean sheet preferably

I actually think we have a stronger squad than last season. I think the players we have added, in general are good. We still have Priestman Koutroumbis and SODs to come back in when fully fit …. McGinn if he ever gets back…as well as guys like Williams Kanga Levitt JKL still to get regular game time. I think we’ll be ok.

4-0 or not 4-0 i couldn’t turn up every week to watch Robinsons teams or that style of football. Hopefully that was a blip, we had so many players off it last night, it was a bit st Mirren semi final flashbacks for me. Jens had some of these games as well last year, there was a few games we got beat that we could have been given more of a hiding. anyway….. I still think we will win on Saturday

None of above. Rotten all round performance. i felt the game v Rangers was the most disjointed I’d seen us in over a year but my god tonight was worse. That second half ?? Jeezus. I just hope that everyone concerned tonight is so embarrassed that we go out and pummel Dundee at the weekend. I can but dream

Aberdeen fans put our moany fans to shame. They are on another level, they still think it’s 1982. theyve not been happy with him for a while and the Robinson factor has sunk him. I do think he was pretty much out his depth as. CEO. We probably let him off a lot due to him working his arse off for 20hrs a day for us. I like him, I wish him well.

A game that gives me the chills, we are on the back of a really poor performance and we have a Robinson / Craigan team to play. All I want is a 1-0 win so I can give them both some verbals from the main stand.A Self important little ego maniac with a massive chip on his shoulder and his curly toed, own goal specialist, ping the ball out the park at every opportunity sidekick. please for the love of god… a 1-0 win please

It’s a relief to think I’ll not have to read any more on here about him being sh1t. good luck to him, I’m pretty sure he’ll get goals with McArthur Bulls? If that’s their name.

Totally sensible move to get Luca game time, hopefully he’ll do really well for them and get a positive permanent move to a championship side. I’d hope Willy will get a move soon too, to help his development.

I’d have your selection but Hodge in place of Priestman. I like Oscar and rate him but I think Hodge could be exceptional after a run of games.

The players available to us under Bertie(apart from a few exceptions … faddy, Fletcher, Ferguson… possible 1 or 2 more) was dreadful. The worst in all my time watching Scotland. When you see lists of the players called up, you had no idea what team they were playing with. Bertie was given a sh1t hand. The standard of player I think got generally better by the time Clarke took over, regular premiership players, decent standard. Unfortunately the football Clarke chose to play was eye bleeding. I’m genuinely quite excited to see how this new manager will do, if he can mix the good ones we have already with a lot of the newer ones coming through. Lennon Miller hopefully included.
