I’m not too concerned with Jens leaving this season, I don’t think he will be going anywhere until the season end at earliest. my only concern for ins and outs just now is Welsh. It did look like he was staying with us but with ONeill going back to Celtic I have a suspicion he might want him. Oneill and Maloney came along and watched the Hibs game at Fir park and they must have been impressed by him as he was exceptional that night. Their fans don’t want him back…. I’m not convinced Welsh wants to go back ….but as much as ONeill is a bit of a loon he does know a player and he is still their player.

They’ll definitely want him but I just can’t see him wanting to walk into that toxicity. He’s far too sensible and level headed for those loonballs. im not even convinced he’s money orientated. He’s ambitious but I don’t see him moving to any other club in Scotland. I see him wanting a job in England eventually. anyway, I’m 100% sure he’s focused on the Hibs game. I doubt very much our prized assets have clauses with sell ons considering we got almost all of them when they were out of contract and clubless. I think it was more of a verbal contract to say we are a shop window for you

I’m not in the Tam Cowan school of selling anyone we can and keeping our “diddy club” going, although if a crazy offer does come in (which I’m 100% sure it won’t from those 2 parasites in Glasgow) then it does need to be considered. But if players are contracted and we are at present flushed with a decent bank balance then I agree….. fk selling to anyone. let’s strengthen this month and see where it takes us.

This is exactly it I’m afraid. It’s one of the reasons they do it, I’m sure of it. It causes issues and puts doubts in players and their team mates minds. There’s definitely something with JBA that I get from him that he really does not give a fk about any opposition right enough and I hope he drums that into our players. Celtic and Rangers being pumped in Europe - “Scottish league isn’t strong enough” “no competition in the SPL so it effects us in europe” they get competition in the form of Hearts and us and then it’s a case of trying to plunder our players (Barga, TJ, Just, Watt etc)so they don’t get any more domestic competition fkn horrible clubs, horrible fans…. I think it’s under 4hrs the flight time to UK from Marakesh. I’m sure I came back from Tenerife one year and played 5s that night. My standard hadn’t dropped at all after a 5hr flight. I was still sh1te!!

I can’t help but think with Osong that he’s only on the bench and continually getting a few mins every other week because of an agreement. He’s shown absolutely nothing in the time he’s been here.

I can only imagine our players having a bit stuck in their teeth from the semi final and a bit of revenge in mind. I hope that gives us an edge to beat them. I’ll take a 1-0 to us right now and SR to take it with his usual grace.

I heard a rumour from a decent source that we have a Norwegian striker that the manager has identified coming to us in January. I doubt it’s Haaland but you never know what JBA can do.

At the game I thought we fell away a little in the second half. This must have been my general nervous panic because watching it again I feel we were in total control. That’s an absolutely incredible performance. Players like Priestman and Said were unreal. I’m just getting used to how good fadinger, slattery and watt are so I don’t even need to say how well they play. we just need to enjoy this while we can.

Just watching the full game again just now on premier sports. My god Michael Stewart loves us. and it’s just as good watching it for a second time.

I watched Welsh, who was on the park at the end of the game. He shook the hands with every Celtic player as they trudged off, a few hugs as well. As soon as they were gone he turned to us in the main stand and fist pumped. He looked every bit as happy as me. His face definitely screamed “get it up them” I don’t see him going back there

Tough one as they were all class but Just was outstanding….. utterly outstanding and when he did go off we did struggle for a period. He just seemed to make everything tick tonight and him and Said in the forward positions were fkn brilliant

Just getting in from the game….. I am so happy I dragged my fat mince pied arse off the couch to go to that. Absolutely outstanding to man. I have watched us play them since the 1970s, in that time I’ve seen some cracking games but I’ve never seen us totally outclass a Celtic team. They were absolutely schooled tonight. players, manager, fans…… a brilliant night. One I’ll remember forever.

Looks like Lennon Miller could be heading to Strasbourg in January. It might be my pigeon French but reports are he’s signing and not a loan deal? Hope that’s the case with our sell on clause.
