Might have missed it earlier but was there any reason for McGhee missing today

Difficult to pick one player.i thought Just was exceptional and Slattery, fadinger and Said were great (I get so much pleasure watching Said…. Makes me laugh every single game…. Absolute joy of a wee guy) but went for Priestman who is getting more impressive and more classy with every game. So cool on the ball. and on a side note, the boy MCColm come on and looked great.

Well we’ve not been brilliant but we do look like we could score every time we get up the park. Kilmarnock giving off St Mirren vibes with the two big awkward forwards would love a couple more.Just, Priestman, Slattery and Said have been good. Sparrow has done brilliant too. and it has to be said, Polworth is still one of the biggest bellends in Scottish football. An absolute con of a player. Every new manager sticks him directly into the team (cos he can actually play)and then after a month drop him when they realise what he’s about.

My best case scenario today is being 2-0 up at 60mins and big Thor coming on and him getting a goal. worst- that Fat time bandit Dodds smiling at us in the main stand after a draw or worse …..a narrow killie win.

We’ve not lost a goal at home since the Falkirk game on the 18th of October. Thats an unbelievable stat considering we are Motherwell. And it’s unbelievable I hadnt thought about this until today. hopefully tomorrow will extend that stat

I don’t ever remember being as engaged with a Motherwell manager when he does his press conferences. Even our previous managers who had a wee bit of a personality (I think we’ve had a couple ) I wouldn’t have dreamt of sitting listening to their 10min presser. lovely to hear his resoluteness about how we don’t need to sell and his building of a better team and adding players. The guy is impeccable.

(Bookmark this) celtic are awful, toxic atmosphere at the club and their players are the poorest I’ve seen since the early 90s Rangers in my view have the best chance to win it unfortunately. They seem to be better organised under Rohl. both rangers and celtic tho will drop points. we are just as good as the above and should have nothing to fear against any of them.

It’s quite incredible what has happened over the past year. At this time last year we had something like 12 loan players? Right now we have none and about 5 of our players that are the target of big clubs along with potential big fees. The main big fee is for a player who wasn’t even selected in the first 11 last January. i know I may be mocked but I sincerely believe if we keep our players and win the next 3 league games (which is entirely possible) that we will be in the mix for the league. Again a year ago to think this would be laughable.

I just watched Stephen O’Donnell on Go radio and he was asked about Maswanhise. Clearly O’Donnell is a Much smarter cookie than Halliday. Discussing that he’s a contracted Motherwell player and if any bids do come in that the board and manager will do what is best for the club. I can’t help but think that this sounded like a pre recorded message and maybe one which has been “advised” following Andy’s word soup last night.

Why the fk is Halliday on a podcast saying it’d take £3m for Maswanhise to leave us in January? he needs his arse booted. His opinions in general are fine but not when it comes to teammates and something which would make our team poorer.

I just do not see JT wanting to move to another team in Scotland? Why would he? There’s clearly teams down south looking at him, I know he’s a Zimbabwean international but his ties are in England, he’ll want eventually move down there and prove his worth and also get paid more than any other side will offer up here. i dont really have any concerns of the talk from the Klarna twins and there payment plans. my main concern is our manager getting bored of Scottish football by playing Aberdeen 5 times before the middle of February.
