These shirts may be my fault!! Before Xmas my mate from Scouseland got this immaculate Liverpool adidas yellow away shirt from the 80s on ebay. It was a fake but a total belter. I went in and got the guys email address and sent him a picture of the 81/82 team (which appears to be the one used now on his advert) and asked if it was possible to replicate it. I stated how it was a rare strip and he could sell a few to 'Well fans. He replied saying he could (in pigeon English) make it but that was the last I heard til I seen them turn up on ebay. I don't know how many were made but I see an XL has just appeared on ebay today, especially for any fat 'well fans out there. I managed to get the first one that appeared on ebay, got it for £20 and currently its just arrived in the UK, (according to the tracking from thai post, reliable, i'm not sure). If its the same material as my mates Liverpool top it'll be good but I can let you know when it arrives if its a shanker! hopefully the person whos just forked out nearly 100 bangers for it realises its not an original......although if they've paid £100 for it more fool them!!

Good solid performance today albeit against an already defeated Hearts team. Great debut from young Leitch. Faddy showed some real class a well and big Sutton worked his arse off all day, always gives 100%!! wee mention for Hollis as well, never rated the guy but he done well today and looked more confident than i've seen him before, he also deserves a chance back in the team after gunners sub standard performances!! Sitting in the main stand its plain to see how much the club needs the 'Well Bois, the bring a great atmosphere to the place and are a credit to the club!! keep it up guys!!

Neilsen is the best keeper we have at the club at the moment, we need to encourage rather than destroy him!!

Woods was a horrendous keeper!! We would have won the league in McLeish's first year if we managed to keep Big Seib from the year before!! However, Stevie Woods was Dino Zoff compared to John Gardiner from the 80s, A person with No arms would've done better than this guy!! Another player Jim McLean conned his wee brother into signing.....one of many!! Eddie May was a guy I personally detested, a decent player at previous clubs who did not want to play for Motherwell and his performances showed this!! I'd have Andy Roddie any day before him as at least he gave 100% (albeit 100% shite) but i'll always forgive guys who worked hard although they didn't have it, it wasn't their fault they signed for us!!

I like Cummins, the first division is a tough league and not a massive difference in standard from the SPFL, hopefully he'll get regular games and come back with a bit of experience. Just hope he's not been dumped there to be forgotten about.

Any word on the game possibly being off tomorrow? I heard today the park had been flooded over the past few days and the cant get machines on it to clear the water?

Sitting 2nd in the league going into 2014, unbelievable considering the money other teams have spent and the players we have lost!! Well done to the players and staff in 2013!! a few blips along the way but yet again we're punching well above our weight!! I'd go with this as well, I actually think our Defence could be pretty decent given a run of games, I think Gunner is a good keeper who's not yet settled in, McManus and Hutch are good defenders and Ramsden is a way better fullback than Hateley!! Worry slightly about Hammy as his age is catching up with him but my god we've seen a lot worse defences than that watching Motherwell.

Really good win in difficult conditions at a ground where points are hard to come by. After a truly awful couple of weeks a good result to get us back on track!! Utd will finish 2nd as they are better than the rest, think we could fight for 3rd if we can get ourselves together.

Unbelievably Bad!! Up there with one of the worst performances/results i've witnessed in 40yrs!! Deservedly beaten by a bunch of part time players who worked their arses off. To be beaten shows a total lack of professionalism and hunger by the players to do well for themselves or the club, they should be ashamed of their performance today!! People are skint just now, coming up to xmas where the average guy in the stand has to fork out when they don't have it. I don't want to be disrespectful of anyone never mind our players but these guys cannot understand or comprehend how much they are earning, compared to the average hard working guy in the street and how fortunate they are to do something they supposedly love!! What I witnessed today were a bunch of players who do not love their job or profession. I wish they could get a dose of reality and get up in the morning and humph their arses to a dead end job without any plaudits or bonuses. A lot of them think they are so hard done to as well, happily mentioning to the press of them "taking a drop in wages" to come here etc etc , 80% of them would be very lucky to get a job in MacDonalds if it wasn't for their so called ability!! The Scottish Cup is our only real chance of proper glory in a season and a potential saviour of our club moneywise, peoples backsides should be getting properly booted over the next weeks or so......shocking stuff and a very bad day for our club!!

Pretty Rank game but its a good win and 3 points, years gone by we would be creaming ourselves with a win against Hibs. We've been so spoiled over the past 10yrs, that when we have a few dodgy performances, its like an assault on everyone who hasn't given their peak performance!! Yet again we've lost our best players at the start of the season (for the 5th year running) and we're sitting 2nd top after the first quarter. McCall, the club and the players deserve a fucking medal!! Get Real, bunch of moany James Hunt's!!

Honking performance today, No passmarks for anyone in my opinion. However, No point in slaughtering individuals when everyone was so poor!! Every team in the SPL are capable of this type of display, so best Putting it to bed and concentrating on Wednesday!!

Would love to see big Neilson get his chance tomorrow in goal, he's a far better goalkeeper than Hollis and I think it's time he's brought in. Fair play to McCall for giving Hollis a chance but I think the Loyalty card he's been playing under has now expired!! His Superman impression at the first goal against Celtic should be the end. Neilson coming in could make our defence really solid this season..........purely my opinion!!

Think we should just save our money and cancel the charter flight!! Disappointing stuff but the better team won. Faster, sharper and better players!! Don't care what anyone says here but they were a decent team, look organised and will do ok in the Europa League sections when they get there. McFadden tried to do too much tonight, a few really good flashes but still looks off the pace, as did the majority of the team. Not their fault, the seasons not even started. Think we have a player in Vigurs tho, not scared to get on the ball and have a go. Cant watch Sutton up there himself......torture !!

Inspirational Stuff......Very Shanklyesque!! Maybe when the players and staff arrive for training tomorrow you could set yourself alight in front of them to make a statement!! We are Motherwell, a small provincial team with a small support and no real money.....we are not Barcelona!! We have been punching above our weight for years and sitting in the top half of the league with only 1 league defeat this season is pretty good going!! Time to get a fucking grip!!
