No .... good, because if he was worth anything he would have been on the phone to McCall telling him the lie of the land, its obvious McCall didn't see merit in his signing so let him go. Any money both the player and his agent would have seen us as better for his exposure (Europe, top 6 consistently, etc.) than Thistle. Not wanting to argue too much but the way I heard it Higginbotham had absolutely no desire to come back to 'Well because he spent most of his time on loan sitting on the bench. I understand he was unlucky with Faddy coming back but the player feels he came here to play and that didn't happen, so really whether SM wanted him back or not is neither here nor there. Good for business would be one good sale ( Hutchinson) and a player coming in Scottish Premiership ready on a 3 year deal that we can get good service from with a view to future sale.
