Just looking through social media and the abuse Kettlewell is getting is filling me with festive joy.
showed his spots last night with his hysterics before getting sent off.

Hell mend him, I just feel sorry for that 4th officials family

I’m more concerned for that poor water bottle.

Kettlewell is obviously feeling the pressure, but his outburst last night was disgraceful and should be called out by all in media.

The guy has anger management issues and apparently he has been like that at all levels of the game towards officials.

The officials as much as we all dislike them dont deserve someone cursing them in their face, especially from someone who apparently had it happen to him and his family.

There is no excuse for his behavour and should be hammered by the authority. Lennons just be banned for 6 plus 2 suspended. Kettlewell should get at least the same.

No sympathy at all, guy threw whole support under bus in January then did his YouTube interview with Oprah mcgregor on same day wimmer was appointed.

I'll always be grateful to him for his first half season with this football club. We were plummeting towards relegation with Hammy and he didn't inspire any confidence in his interviews, so SK was a breath of fresh air. He got the results that we needed on the pitch and also put in a lot of work getting players released to free up wages and steady this football club's finances.

After that, he didn't do so well, he managed to sign some pretty poor players and he became very indisciplined towards the end - perhaps due to the pressure he was under - but he didn't deserve abuse and threats.

Has it ever been proved he was getting abuse and threats or was it a figment of his imagination.

No one should be subjected to abuse and threats and I highlighted that at the time he left but his stories seemed to contradict each other as folk that sat in O'Donnell stand and were at away games didnt recall it being as bad as he was making out.  Way he left club for me was terrible in way he more or less blamed whole support and to bring out that interview with The Sun on day Wimmer was appointed was lack of respect though that was probably the Sun's decision.

Yes there are wallopers in every support. The guy at Falkirk home game a few weeks ago at back of Hunter stand beggared belief. Thankfully not seen him since,  probably in a mood as we are playing great football 🤣🤣

First he said he was taking abuse at Fir Park.

When that was questioned he decided that it was his family that was getting abuse at Fir Park.

When that was questioned he said it was on social media or his kids at school.

I'm sure there were fans telling him he was useless during his long winless spell. I'd be surprised if anyone in the Main Stand was abusing his immediate family (although they may have heard fans yelling at him).

Kids getting teased at school because their dad's a football manager sounds like par for the course regardless of what team you manage.

If any of that was true, then I agree, there is no place for it - but it sounded more like excuses for his failure, and he didn't want "damage his brand".  If he had been like Robinson or McCall, and told the truth that he was no longer able to get a performance from the players despite everything he had tried, I'm sure he would at least have had the respect of most fans.

I'm also sure, if his family was taking abuse at Fir Park, the club would have worked with him to stamp it out.

Of course, if you are a football manager or player who expects to go through every match without taking a bit of stick when you lose, then you are probably in the wrong profession.
