Would love to see Billy Davies back at the club mentoring SH for next 6 months with his no how and contacts might just keep us up

Yeah, spending a 10 or 12 million would be the ideal solution here. Does Davis have anything other than that in his locker ??

Which renovations did we not need then? Pitch, stadium, toilets, catering points enlighten us to why they were not required,  as no doubt you would be the first on here complaining about any of them being sub standard.

We had the best pitch in the country last season then spent £2 million on it to make it compliant with VAR.

Livi and Killie won't spend a penny on their pitches that disgrace the league but we spent a fortune on a perfect pitch to avoid upsetting anyone at Hampden, Ibrox or Celtic Park.

Depends on the injuries also ..some due back mid January efford in particular,he was finding his feet and playing well at the time of his injury, mugabi will push the guys on who are already playing, granted we don't have a strong bench so one of each, defender, midfielder, striker,we already have big fella from Sligo, let's see wot the window brings

Whit, £2 million on the pitch to make it compliant with VAR do you actually read comments before you post utter shite.

The new pitch was only laid at the end of last season and its upgrade was feck all to do with VAR, so 5 months we have had it in use. So as I said before what improvements were not required or like most of your posts were you just talking random shite

The slope of the park had to be fixed for VAR to work with the offside cameras.

That’s a belter even by your standards.

You’re also quoting a figure more than double that relayed to shareholders, even if the required work and longer term thinking hadn’t been done it would be unlikely to see playing budget increased.

Surprised to see Leko linked with coming to The Well.

This is a player with true ability. However, having seen him over 2 spells at Charlton (one in the championship where he ripped it up and one in league 1 where he was a passenger) his signing could be awesome but could equally be a total disaster.

There’s a reason why he’s being touted in the EFL rumour rags for a trip to Scotland and he needs to reverse his career decline. Perhaps Fir Park could be the place to do it.

If he does, we’ll have a player on our hands.

Admittedly I haven't seen the guy play but his CV certainly makes good reading. Pop him in the lineup for Shields would do nicely.

He’d most likely be seen as an Efford replacement. The boy is rapid.

He played most of last season as part of a front 2 looking for knock downs from a big CF but is at his best as a winger and driving at full backs.

Needs massively backed and supported in this window. Needed 6-8 players in the summer . We used up 3 of those bringing in a keeper when he wasn’t needed, a right back that wasn’t needed when we had sod and max Johnstone and on Blair spit all

so now is the time to back the right horse and give the manager a min of 6 to turn things around to the end of the summer when he can properly reset and implement a plan for the future

need to clear out the mass number of bad decisions that were made in the last 2 years first
