Injury list won’t allow for the changes that need made so SH needs to get them up for it we need to take something . During the break SH needs to get the fitness levels up in the squad was embarrassing on Wednesday night Celtic players looked miles fitter so players need to get their fingers out

Could be an interesting lineup, but my guess is it will be Shields in for Mckinstry, and KVV will be thrown out there to hobble around.

St Johnstone games are boring, especially away. I'll take a tannadice style shitfest 1-0 win. Wouldn't greet at a draw though.

Assuming nobody who is injured plays this is the rough team

Kelly

O'Donnell Soljohm Lamie Penny

Spittal Cornelius Slattery Goss

Moult Shields

Five boys as subs & Morris/Mcguire

Assuming the worst case scenario comes to pass, and based on recent selections, Hammy will probably still opt for one striker, most likely Shields, as Moult is most unlikely to start. Morris could well start. Hopefully though a young lad or two will get some game time depending on how things are going - even a couple of minutes would signal Hammy's commitment to youth.

I agree on part. What made it look that way was that Celtic had players with pace who simply ran away from and ran off our players making us look slow. There is not one Well player with quick acceleration. Look at our midfield too slow to get up the park and too slow to support the front players.  Also lack of goals from midfield. Not picking on any one player, but Sean Goss has played 44 games for us scored 1 goal. In his career he has played 119 he's and scored 6 goals. That shows that he along with our other midfield players are very rarely in goal scoring range.  If you check our other midfield players you will see the same pattern of very few goals.

A strange fixture in the context of the season, given our injuries, poor run of results and the impending break. It almost has the feeling of a free hit.  If we win, then great result. If we lose, disappointment but the hard work that is required during the break and leading up to the January window  remains and three points, one way or another, are not going to change that.

Having said that, a win would  be most welcome from a short term moral point of view, both for the players and fans, so COYW!

I see this as a really big game, team moral but also every three points against teams at our level are now crucial. Everyone is assuming we’re going to have a really good transfer window but there are no guarantees.

Can’t believe SH has picked the Three Stoogies again they let him down every week and after Spittals performance on Wednesday night he should be nowhere near the team

Yes I’m pretty surprised we’ve not seen a change in midfield with all three very much out of form.

That may be the case but given the size of our squad they are the probably the best 3 midfielders currently at the club, so thats why they are the 1st pick each week.

They are offering the team nothing why is Cornelius dropped Spittal was terrible on Wednesday and the other two least said the better
