In theory it should be a good game. We'll want to win to confirm our Premiership status and keep us in the hunt for an, albeit unlikely, top 6 slot. Hibs will want the 3 points to secure top 6, should Dundee falter.

I can see it being an open encounter, which will suit us.

We need results to go our way

Tho imagine Rangers will beat Dundee considering there battling for the title especially if they win today

5 goal different in us and Dundee but we have the better so if Aberdeen beat them we have a opportunity to finish above them for the split

All Motherwell have to do is beat Hibs at Fir Park if results go our way

If Dundee do lose both their games, then Hibs only need a point in this one, so that might affect their tactics.

Much simpler from our perspective - just win it.

4 - 2 to us, and just hope Aberdeen don't Hibs it.

Normally I have no interest whatsoever in OF games, but from a selfish perspective that was a good result today. It keeps the title pot boiling and means Sevco will be desperate to beat Dundee in midweek and Ross County next Sunday.

Assuming midweek goes the way it should, its a case of us winning and Dundee losing, not the most convoluted scenario. Its only slightly easier for Hibs because draws come into it, but they are depending on the Dundee game just like we are.

The problem is that Aberdeen are soft as shite.

After todays result no doubt the Govan mob will be fired up to get 3 points to prove a point which works in our favour

Potentially a great afternoon next Saturday , or a disappointing one .  Quite happy for the time being to watch the Dundee highlights again later tonight , then see what happens

It's not in our own hands, all we can do is beat Hibs and hope other results go our way, but given where we were a few months ago it's a great turnaround that we have given ourselves a chance of the top 6.

I am a positive guy but somehow I have the fear and we will blow it but fingers crossed we win and just see what happens.

One thing that can't be argued is that there is a great team spirit which is so obvious in the goal celebrations.  Davor and Dan the man prime examples

Collum again.

He has refereed 5 league matches out of 33 this season , an incredible stat when you consider how many category one officials there are in this country.  Bellend of the highest order.

One fly in the ointment could be the Dundee Rangers game being off this midweek which going by the weather forecast is a distinct possibility.

It would leave us in a bit of limbo for a few more days, especially if we beat Hibs and Aberdeen beat Dundee.

Hopefully it goes ahead and we know whether it's top or bottom 6 by 5pm on Saturday.

Looking forward to that one being played at Airdire behind closed doors.

Is their game not on tv again?

I would Imagine the covers were put back on the park immediately after the game on Saturday and every effort will be made to get the game on.

Given we were able to play on it on Saturday and the pitch seemed perfectly playable (albeit a poor surface) I would like to think the game will go ahead.

Of course, now Dundee are saying if it's cancelled it would just be rescheduled before the split.

Which makes Saturday even more farcical when we were forced to play on a terrible pitch.   But hey we beat them so justice was done

All we can do is focus on beating Hibs and just see how the other results pan out. Regardless of the other results, beating Hibs will be a big 3 points for us. Whether that gets us in top 6 or helps secure safety it would be a great 3 points for us.
