While it's a good workout, I think DVSD play in the 5th or 6th tier of the Dutch Amateur leagues.

Never hurts to sharpen up our scoring though, and looking at their website, the locals were really looking forward to playing us.

I wonder if this will ever catch on in the Premiership.

It’s all about getting match fitness and sharpness in at this stage so it’s encouraging to see us rack up the goals albeit we can’t read anything into it.

The fact that remains that anything other than progression from our League Cup Group is unacceptable and I’d even go further and say that if we don’t make the quarter finals then it also not good enough.

I must have missed Robinson. Who is he and where did we get him?

He was on loan at Dundee the last two seasons.

Few of their fans on P&B were gutted we got him; apparently Tony D played him out of position last season and he didn't score as many as he did the season they got promotion.

Pretty much half the Dundee squad last season were loans.

Be interesting to see how they do this season.

Looking at Transfermrkt and Livi have brought in 9 new players the same as us. Not the most exciting game on paper but we'll see plenty of new faces.

We're at home 4 out of the next 5 Saturdays and on the other Saturday we are at NDP. Hopefully we can build some good momentum.

Due to the vile, inbred, bigoted scum of Scotland having several marches today, with one being close to Fir Park straight after the match, any advice from Motherwell locals on which pubs and areas to avoid before and after the game would be appreciated. I am from Lanarkshire and used to this shit, but I want to double-check before I jump on the train and potentially get caught amongst the unwashed and uneducated masses.

For those with concerns, here is the route that leaves from outside the stadium at full-time. It's hunbelievable that this is allowed.

What about the Motherwell supporters who will take part in the return parade? And you wonder who the bigots are…

Authority given in advance of club announcing a bounce game - that’s why it is allowed.
