I didn't have the best view of it at the time but in the second half it looked like the st mirren player tried to push gordon towards balacome who was rushing out and it could have been disastrous had the collided, funnily enough it was there player that ended up taking the whack instead.

That just isn’t true. I was sitting two rows behind the fan who he had an interaction with (Robinson and the fan both were giving each other stick throughout the game which was fair enough both ways to my eye). The fan made the point during the treatment break that this injury was all on Robinson and his encouragement of horrendous fouling tactics. Jacovides pushed Watt who fell into Slattery and bumped into the injured player. The fan never swore at Robinson in that exchange and never said anything derogatory about the injured player. Robinson then said something completely unrelated, along the lines of “hes being taken to hospital and that’s ok!?” And the fan said he’s only going to hospital because of your tactics. And that was it.

nonsense and untruths need to be called out when it happens because as we have seen recently, these things quickly grow arms and legs and before you know where we are all sorts of lies are being written about us.

Fans shouldn't be having long interactions with the opposition dug out. What's the point of that unless your an attention seaker. Or someone that likes sound of their own voice.

After their second goal, robinson acted like a prick turning around to goad the well fans in that area. Not surprised he endured some stick after that.

Yes this was olusanya, not long before his second yellow. Second yellow seems soft when you see it in isolation but very lucky to get away with that one which was probably fresh in the refs mind.

A big concern for us should be the potential for Robbo to set St Mirren up to kick lumps out of us and cause some bad injuries. We need to be smart going into this game.

Robbo and his players are thugs and that referee was utterly pathetic. There is lots more to say about the game but I can't be arsed.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you but that doesn’t make it OK for Robinson to say something that just didn’t happen.

"If true" is the classic phrase of the internet troll.

"I just heard Keir Starmer is going to ban Scottish football fans from attending live games. Outrageous, if true".

Basically just a mechanism for spouting nonsense.

Given that Maswanhise played 25 minutes at Dundee and zero minutes at Ibrox, it's a pretty long rest he's getting.

Grizzly tells very funny jokes...."if true" 😃😃

Robbo isn’t the first (former) Motherwell manager to talk shit about the Motherwell fans.

Robinson also suggested that some Motherwell fans were happy to see the player stretchered off. Said it twice in his post match interview.

Same robbo that gave "git it up ye " sign at 2-0,  glass houses steve

The player who was injured got clapped off - everyone knows that. Twice he suggested that Motherwell fans were laughing at it behind the goals. His exact words were people can say anything at the football these days with no consequences. Poor show. Just sour because they didn't win

True. The nob has no class. Only way he knows is to advocate cheating. Love to get him and st midden relegated if we don't reach top 6.

Just watched the highlights and the post match interviews. Something has really irked Robinson to the point that he hates us 😄. This has nothing to do with alleged goading of an injured player. It's all about Robinson being butthurt at being accused of being a hammer thrower manager. What a wee troll.

For people not old enough to have seen Alex Ferguson's St Mirren team, they were like a dirty, cheating version of today's.

Yes, and when we beat them at FP in a sell-out cup tie, Fergie played the victim and complained about our physical play: classic projection from him.

Watched Sportscene eventually and thought Robbo displayed very little class in his post-match comments, so I'm glad the draw annoyed him so much.

Also, the BBC highlights package was typically poor: MFC's early miss and Gogic's header right at the end were completely omitted and both big incidents which caused delay and injury were not shown either.

At least we have a break now to assess injuries and try  get some more players back in contention for the Aberdeen game.

Robinson deluded talking about game also in saying they controlled it. Well had 61 % possession. They only had 2 more shots on goal than us as they were more direct attacking flanks. Well overplayed it at times. Wimmer may need to rethink strategy for this type of opposition. Hoping once he gets time and a few players in, the tactics work more efficiently.

Didnt see the game yesterday, so will reserve comment on that.

However, there does seem to be a helluva reaction to Robbo employing "Robbo like tactics". Whilst fans are fickle and entitled to be hypocritical, I dont remember too many people complaining about it whe he was with us. We actually revelled in it at times, so much so that the phrase "Thunderdome" was coined.

I do find it surprising that he has had a go at our fans though. He was generally well regarded at Fir Park and I dont recall feeling any ill will towards him or St Mirren when he went there and started filling the team with our ex players. It was actually quite amusing.

Really pleased we managed to get the draw and keep our noses un front of them and in touch with Hearts. If we can get anything at all out of the Aberdeen game then it should hopefully set up a winner takes all in the final game before the split.

I had this game down as draw several weeks ago. St Mirren played exactly how we thought they would and perhaps our tactics weren't suited to counteracting them. MW will be learning all the time and he will be thinking about yesterday. Despite our long injury list there were still 2 surprise additional omissions yesterday in the form of Armstrong and Manwhanise, either one of whom might have made a positive difference.

The media will be more than happy to take Robinson's opinion as fact. Thats the way it is for 88% of our senior clubs.
