The two posts above help dispel the theory.

Club will realise a market value like never seen soon enough.

Interesting statement mate hopefully it’s true.
Rumour I heard is he’s looking to go to Germany, Austria or Italy in that order of preference but no bids from those countries as yet.

Miller? I don’t think it’s odd at-all. He is still our player and until an offer is made, accepted and finalised then that will remain the case. An offer will come, I have no doubt of that, but I suspect it might not come until mid to late August and therefore I see no issue with him playing for us until then. He won’t still be a Motherwell player by the time the transfer window shuts regardless of how many times he starts between now and then.

My Dutch colleagues tell me it's about 34C there today, so probably won't be seeing much high tempo football this evening.

20mins in and it’s rotten. We lost a poor defensive goal to a guy named Ricky Van Wolfswinkel.  Nearly reason enough to turn it off.

34C is a nightmare though

How are you watching it?

The guy that's changed hands for much, much more than we'll get for Miller? That Van Wolfswinkel..?

Yeah I had a wee laugh at his name and then googled him. He’s 36 right enough, I’m hoping this heat slows him down.

Looking at the way he set up tonight our options at the moment are

GK- Oxborough/Ward

RB - SOD/Koutrombis/Mcginn

CB - Gordon, Balmer, Mcghee, Mcginn

LB - Wilson

CM - Miller, Halliday, Slattery, Watt, Fadinger, Sparrow

RW - Nicholson, Ross

LW - Maswanhise

ST- Stam, Robinson , Stuparevic

we need 6/7 in to strengthen the squad. With a few outgoings.

- Starting LB and RW need to be recruited asap.

- We'll also need another 2 Cms when Miller is sold.

- We need a LW, CB and a Target-man ST to put us in a good position going into the season.

For talking sake would you take Shankland (potentially 20+ goals) if we sold Miller for a good whack of cash or go with the new managers options? I don’t think it would make sense but if he was willing to come would it be of benefit or a detriment? I’m leaning towards no but this is also not a rumour

Shankland is staying at hearts now and would be well out of our price range even when miller is sold.our forward line needs serious attention though, last night only highlighted the problems that we seen the whole of last season.

To my way of thinking we won’t see many, if any, further signings in the next few weeks until the club knows what cash it’s going to receive from the sale of Miller. The club - or the society don’t have a few million stashed away that they can afford to lose if a big money move for Miller doesn’t materialise and although it’s unlikely to happen, prudence is the name of the game.
I’ve no doubt that they’ll have spoken with players and possibly agreed verbal terms on the condition of Miller being sold but those players may still sign for another team meanwhile.

More signings will come with or without the Miller millions. I’m confident we’ll look to build a more balanced and financially sensible squad than we’ve seen in recent seasons. And that doesn’t mean scraping the barrel. It means prioritising quality over quantity.
