I know it’s our first game and a friendly etc but defensively we look worryingly bad.

Almost lost a comical goal there. See when we don’t have players at the back with good technique…. Do not …. Repeat not…. Fk about with it at the back with tippy tappy passes.

Twente just look a much better side to be fair.
anyway…. It’s a pre season game- I’ll not get too worked up.

Twente playing with 2 wingers who are ripping Johnny k and Ewan Wilson apart.

who’d have thought playing wingers could do that?

Good wingers, the kind we never seem to sign these days.

I couldn’t believe my eyes there….. and then I saw him run back as slowly as me and realised it was him.

Apparently twente have annual revenue of 40 million euros. It's really not surprising if they are out classing us

They do look a decent side to be fair. I know they did well in Europe last year too. You can see by just their movement they are at a different level to us.

Not seen anything in watt or fadinger so far.
and what the fk is going on with this defensive routine. It’s verging on embarrassing

Yep, it's a really good test for us against a tram that really ought to beat us easily.

There’s a lot of huffing and puffing going on without anything to show for it. And that’s just in my house

2-0

not convinced that shot was on target that our keeper parried out to the oncoming Twente player.

Keeper should have done better, it wasn't the hardest of shots, Twente look dangerous every time the go forward,  I'm surprised its only 2 nil.

Given its our first game of the pre season under a new manager against a quality team, we have done ok, especially in that heat.

We could have battered a non league team and learned nothing. Playing against this mob should be a good schooling.

Its obvious we need reinforcements up front, with pace. Wilson at left back is still questionable it seems.

They do look a decent side, they were 6th in the Dutch league last season as well. So much for people saying the Dutch league is similar to the SPL. What nonsense
