You know, fairs fair to Stenhousemuir. They had 7 new players arrived yesterday and today (I now believe theyโ€™ve all been involved) part time players, probably not too used to plastic parks either and theyโ€™ve kept a top level, possession centric, load management team to a bare minimum of goal shoots. Thank god we have SODโ€™s

We won. Thatโ€™s the positive.

The less said about the performance the better.

Tuesday night is must win but that was the case regardless of the result today.ย

Iโ€™ll put this out here now, We will not be beating Morton next week. Morton have a decent side and a streetwise manager, helped by a streetwise director of football.

Iโ€™ll be at the game, Iโ€™ll not be booing, shouting at players or calling for JBA,s headโ€ฆ. But we will not be winning that game.ย

Thats a fair assessment based on performances thus far ย -be interesting to see if we can step up our own game.ย

Thatโ€™s exactly it really, Morton are way better than what weโ€™ve played so far.
In my view, and I appreciate others have other opinions, Iโ€™ve not seen anything from us that gives me a great amount of hope, maybe an occasional flash of โ€œsomethingโ€ from someone but thatโ€™s it.

im just hoping as we are playing a better side, on a good park that we show more creation and composure in the final third, which is the most important part of the game.

Thatโ€™s got to be the hope , at the moment weโ€™re not showing any obvious level above the opposition .ย

Ideally we can step up a level and continue to beat Morton and then step up again as we progress towards spl .

Still to settle into our new way of playing , establish best formation and personnel and hopefully add quality into defence .

I see MJC has been recruiting for the doom and gloom club, honestly ive never heard so much negativity 5 games into a season ffs,ย

Iโ€™m really just saying what Iโ€™m seeing and I am still hopeful weโ€™ll be ok. I quite like how the manager is and Iโ€™m quite happy how the set up at the club is.
But if you can tell me what has inspired you on the park so far then Iโ€™m interested to hear it? the only thing Iโ€™ve saw that I think looks ok is a few midfielders who seem to have a bit of ability but lack a bit of creation.

How did Stama play?Does he look like he is going to score anytime soon?

Just depends who you ask bud. I thought he looked poor. But there will be others on here whoโ€™ll say he played like R9.
