MJC
Well…I did think it would be 3-0. Good job done in the end and a special strike to seal it from TM.

weeyin
More load balancing, bit more progression in our tactics and play, AP scores, clean sheet, top of the group. Now for fun, scroll back through the thread to read the complaints.

Ya Bezzer!
Obviously the best performance of the group stages, kept our tempo high for the 90 minutes which you can probably put down to improving fitness. Overall, although we were better tonight, I thought all the same issues as we'd see before where still there. Thought there was a few stray passes, kinda struggled to create chances and our final ball needed to be better. And although we weren't put under loads of pressure I still thought Morton should have scored twice in the first half. Still it was a step forward and Maswanhise's second was our first great goal of the season. Lots of work on and improve on but there was signs there that we are going forward.

BigManTam
First glimpse of the team I've caught this season. Only tuned in for the final 30 minutes and caught the 2nd and 3rd goals. Impression: You can clearly see the style JBA is trying to implement on the team, and there were some promising moves. Individually, you can see there are some players in the team eho really struggle with the idea of retaining the ball and looking for a pass. It goes back a bit to that general lack of quality in Scottish Football. It's not even just technical ability, it's also creativity and confidence. We've seen with the national team how painful it can be to watch players playing a possession game, but without confidence and quality. There is a real risk we end up going down a similar path this season. However, I've seen enough to look forward to the new season and hope to see further improvement. As many have said, anything new is better than the pish which has often been served up in recent seasons. grizzlyg
Really enjoyed that tonight, so refreshing to see a style of football where we are trying to play entertaining. I thought both full backs were excellent, especially Jonny K. Biggest challenge is working out who is who between, Watt, fadinger and Slattery, like watching triplets. Good seeing Stama score and TJ 2nd goal a peach. Roll on the JB revolution

Other than a lucky call on the penalty we were never in any danger. Scored 3 goals , one screamer what more can we ask.

Roll on the JB revolution me too , when I think the shite we endured under Hammel and Kettlewell any fans who didn't enjoy that tonight should, I respectfully suggest, give up. 3

Busta Nut
Brilliant, lot of work to be done at the back, that will take time and maybe bodies. Midfield looks great. up top looks good. Worry about people getting annoyed at Stamatelopoulos when he's clearly doing a job he's asked to do. We'll be fine, fun to watch and will be involved in a few hammerings (either way)

El Grew
Was really pleased with the way the manager wants us to play and that he stuck to his guns even when it looked like we weren’t going to score from open play tonight. And great to see us finally convert chances from that good play. As others have posted it was night and day from the drivel we were subjected to by the previous two managers. It’s football the way it should be played and long may it continue. COYW.
