It was the kinda ball that Stama must have been dreaming of all season.

We just dont deliver enough of them.

Hendry and Stama seem like similar types of striker to me, albeit Hendry seems a bit handier with the physical side of the game.

We could do with something different in January. Something Theo Bair shaped......

Why does sevco get big inquest into the injustice of he terrible referee at old firm game but we get nowt when we had injustice? Not fair. St Mirren may go down

Because the Scottish media, SFA, SPFL and any oither organisation connected to football are only interested in the ugly sisters and constantly  pander to them to the detriment of every other club in Scotland.

And as the premiership voting rules require an 11-1  vote to change anything nothing will ever happen as they both vote to maintain their own self interests.

Scottish football would be a much better environment without the both of them and the bigoted nonsense they both spout, rant over.

Three games in a week fukd us. We can't be expected to play 3 games with the majority of possession in a week and expect to be anything but jaded. It showed in the team as a whole and some individual performances were well below what we have come to expect.

Onwards n upwards.

Disagree, there's been plenty cutbacks and stam hasn't been there.

Ive seen plenty hit the first man or go flying over his head. Not seen too many whizz across the 6 yard line waiting for the tap in. Its the very thing that was remarkable about Hendry's goal in the semi final. The fact that it was Sparrow that delivered it might say something.

Exactly, that was my expectation, not rely on worldies from RCC or Slats

He should try and get in front of his marker  more , hopefully proves me wrong but just don't rate him

I was not wanting St Mirren to win that purely out of petty jealousy and annoyance at our semi final performance but…. I’m ok about it now. I can’t stand wee Robinson but I’m pleased for guys like Lasley.

i can’t imagine how insufferable their fans will be now right enough.

Big chance missed by Mwell. Celtic were there for the taking and we played out our worst game at that semi final. Robinson never got close to beating them with us in our finals.

That’s what guts me. Robinson got us to two cup finals and we never laid a glove on them. Circumstances have obviously worked in St.Mirrens favour this year with Celtic being in turmoil but even if that had been us playing that Celtic team today we would still have ended up losing. We are not nearly clinical and streetwise enough as a team to win games like these.

I never ever thought I would be so annoyed to see Celtic lose a cup final but I am honestly fucking pig sick seeing St.Mirren win that.

Your right. We didn't lay a glove on Celtic at the finals and also lost heavily to rangers in final prior to those. It is gutting to know that could well have been chance of a generation to see us win a cup. Robinson will probably move on to bigger club now.

I hope a bigger club does take him away from St.Mirren now.

I hate St.Mirren with a passion. Robinson is a decent guy who did well with us and unfortunately much better with them.

Goes to show you can win things with hammer throwers. Ugly football but if you got lucky with circumstances and hard work it can win cups.

It helps when the clearly superior opposition has shot themselves in the foot repeatedly with bad decisions on and off the park relating to managers and player recruitment. We’ve never got that slice of fortune whenever we’ve faced Celtic in cup finals in recent times.

Obviously that was outwith our control but as I said I still wouldn’t have backed us to beat this particular Celtic side in a Cup final had it been us playing them today.

Unpopular opinion and this is fine by me

Absolutely gutted we lost in the semi final , I woke up this morning thinking I could have been at Hampden today , the way the season is going with a very good chance of beating Celtic today

On the other hand happy St Mirren , Robbo and Las won , and hoping even more now we win the Scottish Cup 🏆

Would rather see any team outwith those 2 Glasgow mobs win
