It was more 2 let folk know about the ticketing arrangements

I downloaded the Hampden Ticket App last week so a mate could send me tickets for the next two Scotland home games. He bought the tickets and then was able to send them to me via his App. Appears to have worked ok as both tickets now show when I open my App. All he needed was the E-Mail I used when setting up the App after download. He said it was easy enough but it is yet another complication fans could do without.

It would help if MFC could explain to folk how a Group can make sure they get tickets together and if each person needs their digital ticket on their phone. And can confirm that tickets can be transferred to others in the group once purchased.

It's a pain in the arse and will ensure many who would have gone won't. The process despite being a pain in the arse is quite straightforward.

1. Everyone who wants a ticket downloads the Hampden app.

2. Season ticket holders can get as many tickets as they like.

3. Season ticket holders purchase tickets from Motherwells ticketing platform.

4. Every ticket ordered must have an email address associated with the Hampden app. If you order 5 tickets for family / friends they must all give you the email address that they set up the Hampden app with.

5. When tickets are purchased all tickets will need to be sent from the Hampden app of the purchaser to the email that each person used to set up the Hampden app , the ticket will appear in each individuals Hampden app on the week of the game.

6. Entry to Hampden will only be possible using the Hampden App ticket QR code that will go live on the morning of the game.

Disenfranchising our older supporters who are not mobile app savy. Shocking way to treat potential paying customers.

St Mirren selling tix tomorrow to all their fans season and non-season ticket holders alike.

Why can't we do the same? There won't be shortage of tickets.

An unnecessarily complicated set of instructions. Unlike the St Mirren site, our doesn't seem to mention the location of our allocated sections, unless I've missed this.

These sort of instructions put folk off going to football.

Allocated sections were in a previous communication, but they should have highlighted them again.

We are basically in the East Stand starting in Section F1 round to G7.

We also have sections in the north stand and south stand.

Not sure if you can pick your seat or if they will just be allocated randomly.

I've just logged on.  They are selling tickets for

North Stand D4 & D5

East Stand F1 & F2

South Stand J1, I4 & I5

You can select your own seats.

I was thinking about buying tickets for the North Stand near the halfway line, but they aren't selling for those sections 😢

I was hoping for the same, but as you say not on sale. I decided on south stand section J 1 and got 2 £40 tickets in there, an extra £4 but should be a good view.

How does this work for pensioners who don’t have computers or smart phone and have no idea what an app is? Can they go to the club shop and get tickets?

From. What I've read no you cant its all digital, no physical tickets will be issued. Its a nonsense to be honest, all I can suggest is get a friend or family member to get a ticket for you.

It is absolutely shocking cos he will need a smartphone with him and the app to get in. So if an old buddy doesn't have a smartphone they cant go, piss poor. You seriously wouldn't know football was a business dependant on customers.

I’m reading through all this just now and he’s fkd. He’s been a season ticket holder for 50yrs.

he goes separately to me as well so I’m at a loss how this will all go? I don’t think there’s a facility to print off a ticket either to give him?

He’s been to every Hampden occasion since 1950 but as he’s not got a fkn smartphone he’s banned.
I think if I can get tickets for the family we can all meet up and go in at the one time but I’m not a season ticket holder.

really poor stuff

Infact I can’t, I’ll need to buy him a smartphone and set him up with a contract and an email address. FFS

Another thing I was wondering what happens to kids who dont have a smartphone. Can their parents keep two tickets in their smartphone and get them both in via the Hampden app

You can buy and store multiple tickets in the same smartphone app and scan each person through the gate one after another.

So scan yourself in, pass the phone back to 5 different people and they all scan in separately?
