I would think that more than a few would be annoyed and rightly so. Nothing wrong with that, providing its not OTT. If they didn"t care  that would be more of a concern. Usual caveats apply, of course, appalling refereeing etc

Yeah but I've already seen comments on social media like "get this tippy happy stuff to fuck,  we just need to win" or "Id rather watch shite and win" granted it's only a few voices but I can see it now if we end up bottom of the league and out the cup. Fans are fickle that's why the next 3 games are extremely important. Embed the feel good factor keep the impressive uptick in attendances that's what three good results can do.

I agree with this.

Next 3 games are huge.

The manager and team have had a lot of buy in from the majority of the support over the new philosophy as we can see the long term benefits of what it could bring.

But the cup semi final and more entertaining football aside, there havent been the tangible results required to prove it can also be successful.

We need something from the next week to hang on to, otherwise the murmurings from the more reactionary within our support will begin to be more audible.

I’m not sure about “buy in”.
I’d say buy in would mean having patience and belief in the new approach being the way forward if we want to have a better football team on the park along with the understanding that it may take time to yield results.
Unfortunately, fans are not well renowned for patience and understanding.

We may not be able to fix our issues till next season after the summer transfer window. I’ll be ok with finishing 10th and continuing to play the excellent stuff we have seen so far. Having said that I’m confident of us not being in a relegation dog fight come the end of the season.
As JBA says, “it’s where you finish at the end of the season that defines your season”. It’s not where you are after first round of fixtures.

Definitely need to get a few wins but I would stress all the other teams in league are having similar issues. Check amount of draws there have been.

I still feel we have a keeper who doesn't inspire confidence and dread another big error at a crucial moment but defence in general needs tightened up.  Definitely need big Gordon back alongside Welsh.  I am a big McGinn fan but I don't think he's great against big physical sides

It's not just the defence that is the issue when we concede, it's what the entire team is doing when we don't have possession.

When we stick to plan, we generally do the right things to get back into shape quickly , compress space and shut them down.

When we don't stick to the plan, we sometimes lose the plot and panic, leaving big gaps all over the place.

While that has happened in spells this season, for some reason against Falkirk we spent the entire 2nd half playing that way. All the more surprising after the first half performance.
