Does anyone know whats happening with this game?

No tickets on sale yet and no confirmation of date and kick off time?

Seems a bit odd 11 days out from the game.......

They've got a fair few of our ex players who will all be fired up for the game if we play the way we have been in recent weeks we should progress need to keep the ball away from Hale he caused all sorts of problems last season.

I’m just hoping they Don’t injure half the team.

I didn’t realise how bad they were. Just had a look at the championship table. The only way we get beat here is by being overconfident and thinking we just have to turn up and we’re thru. The team best take it seriously and put in a professional performance.

Kettlewell effect in full force tonight against Thistle. 2 early goals on the break and then sit in with 34% possession at home.

Hoofs up park to Whyte on his own and rinse and repeat.

I'm fully expecting County to grind out a few results over the next few weeks before the inevitable winless streak kicks in.

I certainly didn't see much to worry about for our cup tie.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Jens plays one of the youngsters like McAllister and he may give McGhee a start.

im hoping we might have a new face in as well by Saturday

i think we’ll win but it won’t be easy. Munster always seems to start positively with new teams.

We need to start our strongest 11 and take it from there. We cant afford to take this game lightly.

Its a cup game and to progress you need to work hard and hope with our quality and abit of luck it will be enough.

Agreed. We all know how SK will set his team up. They'll sit in deep and try to frustrate us. If we don't score early it could be a long afternoon.  An early first goal will be crucial. The time to bring on unforced subs is if/when we're 2 or 3 goals up. By all means rest & rotate players but not until we have a decent cushion.

As is so often the case with Motherwell we save our worst performances for Cup ties even when we’re on good form. I don’t see next week being any different I’m afraid.

1-1 (3-5 penalties)

Good to see you have removed that imposter who had taken over your account.

Or are you just recalling November 2013.

Did we not get through our League Cup group unbeaten and make it all the way to the semi-final? That's not bad for a string of worst performances.

Inevitably every team gets beat in a cup competition (except the winner), but I don't see a Macclesfield on the cards here.

Unlike most years, this year we have a team that absolutley can beat anyone in Scotland on our day.

We have the tools available to actually win the cup this year. We cant take any team or any round for granted. Should be hitting this as our strongest possible side!

This game shouldnt be any significant problem.

However, I am concerned how many players may be missing.

Kettlewell will concede possession to us. We just need to keep an eye on Jordan White and Hale.

As long as we dont turn up with a team of reserves and JT brings his shooting boots we should be fine.....
