SteelmaninOZ
So Killie come to Fortress Fir Park again should be a big crowd and another three points for the Steelmen
weeyin
Let's destroy McCann and Doddsy with a new striker and then have them on Sportscene in the evening to analyse our performance.
grizzlyg
Can imagine Killie being very defensive so we will need to be patient but hopefully not look for the perfect goal and one pass too many. COYW
texanwellfan
This is where all the focus has to be, on this game. Not on cup dreams or transfer speculation. Going into the third round of fixtures and most seasons we have at least one round of fixtures where we struggle. 2 good rounds already so we need to play even better to have a good third round and hopefully keep us well in contention for top 4 spot. two teams above us play each other (Hearts v Celtic) and two teams below us play each other (Falkirk v Hibs) so if we take care of our business it could be a great day for us.
thewelllfan
Playing a team that's not won in 16 i'm slightly concerned given our history against teams in that sort of form. Team for me would be Ward (Where was he Sat anyone know) SOD Mcginn Gordon Longelo Fadinger Preistman Maswanhise Slattery Just Bjorgolfsson (If he's signed in time if not Stama) I suspect this will be similar to the Ross County game where we're trying to break down a low block for the majority of the game. They've got some better players than Ross County so it will be a tough game. Hopefully we get the win and start to build some more momentum going into a busy and season defining February. joewarkfanclub
Ive got to the stage I dont particularly care or worry about who we are playing. If we play well and up to the same high standards we have set all season Im pretty confident we will get a positive result. The fact the game is at home and against a team struggling at the wrong end of the league means we should definitely be targetting 3 points here. Depending on fitness / availability Id probably play without a striker again as it causes opposing teams all so rts of problems due to our movement. A wee cameo for the big Viking off the bench will do fine..... No doubt the times we don't will stick in your mind, but if you want a recent example of playing a team in that sort of form you only need to look as far back as the last time we played (and beat them). Hopefully the recent cases remain true then the next 3 games are against the sides at the bottom it's a great chance to build momentum heading into the cup game and if we manage to pick up 9 points we'd be well on our way to a European tour come July/August time.
wellfan
McCann’s plastic carpet cloggers aren’t getting anything from Fir Park.

Indeed! 11 games (1 round of fixtures) to the split and we are 12 points (+bunch of goals) ahead of 7th spot. If we have a good start to this round of fixtures it will be hard to knock us out of the top six.

Orinoco
Another really good press conference from Jens. He takes no nonsense from the journalists. Im sure someone more technie can post it up. Looks as if noone will leave, famous last words, and it push onwards and upwards to see what we can achieve. 1 center back, either Welsh back or A N other, plus an additional one perhaps. Would assume its a left back, but you never know.

JBA: Well I think I described thoroughly last week where they were, and if you rewind a week and then go forward, then they are one week later.
