It takes away the proximity of away fans to us and the game, keeping then up there which lessens the atmosphere. It also looks poor on tv. How much abuse would our keeper receive when retrieving the ball? Also restricts the possibility of objects/pyros being thrown onto the pitch areas and players officials being injured. Makes practical sense to me given that Clubs are expected to take all possible precautions to avert crowd trouble. And quite honestly I don't care a toss if visiting fans find it difficult to create an atmosphere. Think back to that Celtic game where all sorts of mayhem erupted with our players being confronted on the pitch. Did our 'top tier' rule not come into play shortly after that game? I would happily bar the OF from the bottom tier as well but money talks I guess. Jens has us playing the best football since McGhee’s first season and he’s getting results from it. Alexander on the other hand was making unnecessary changes week after week and the football was awful but benefited from a huge slice of luck with other teams cutting their own throats. All the top sides are playing each other 2 or 3 times in the next 6 scheduled matches So we really need to be winning this one (and the next one) before Rangers come to Fir Park. However we've only won 2 of 11 away league matches this season, although one of them was at Livingston via a 93rd minute winner that kept us out the relegation zone in week 9. Killie and Livi. Losses to the uglies and 7 draws. I think we have a bit more about us now so hoping we maintain our home form and improve on away results this round of fixtures.
