Very happy with the win, not perfect but another win and another clean sheet so it can't be bad! Probably should have scored 4 or 5 before half time, and we seemed to play within ourselves after the break, sloppy at times but rarely troubled. Subs made suggested we had Wednesday in mind

The first half yesterday just oozed class. We were exceptional. 5/6 up would not have flattered us. Second half we became a bit more erratic without being poor. Our passing accuracy rate noticeably dipped in the second half however we were never in any danger at any point after the first 2 mins.

The usual suspects outstanding again, Just, McGinn, SOD, Said, Fadinger, Sparrow of special note however no failures anywhere. Very enjoyable day in East Lothian... Onwards to Dundee 👊

February is going to be the make or break month of the season.

All the top sides are playing each other 2 or 3 times in the next 6 scheduled matches

So we really need to be winning this one (and the next one) before Rangers come to Fir Park.

However we've only won 2 of 11 away league matches this season, although one of them was at Livingston via a 93rd minute winner that kept us out the relegation zone in week 9.

Now with 3 from 12 we've still not won away from home on grass.

Were you using powerful field glasses to view the proceedings from North Berwick Law? 🙂

Seriously though, I agree with your assessment. We should have been well out of sight by half time.  The best I've seen us play this season (I missed the Celtic game). No point in repeating previous compliments, which were all justified. What did particularly impress me though is the ability of lads like Just and Said to win the ball back when they lose it.  I was expecting one of the Livvy players to poleaxe Said but fortunately it didn't happen. Only slight criticism is that we need to cut out the early potential gifts like the ones yesterday and last week against Killie. Fortunately the opposition couldn't capitalise on them.

Despite being comfortable Ward had massive save first half and then almost reverted to old habits 2nd half trying to be too clever but fortunately didnt get punished.  Great also seeing Sam Nicholson return, a really nice guy and could be a key player fir rest of season.

Yes that was a bonus. If he can stay injury free he'll  fit nicely into our system and help squad rotation.

First off what a good travelling support yesterday and Priestman is going to be some player for us if he keeps this up what a find he has been has been outstanding last few games near enough flawless.

The game was done and dusted soon as the 2nd goal went in Livi are beyond poor Martindale has to do the right thing and go but digs his heels says he won't quit and knows he will never be sacked.

All in all a couple more faces just to shore up the back just in case I can't mind last time we had so much proper value in so many players JBA has changed the club forever.

Up the Well!

Martindale moved upstairs.

I guess they just don't want to sack him.

They must think he's doing such a good job that they want him to have even more influence on their recruitment and development.

Wondered why I was getting a sea breeze 🤣
